This is a real time look at my drawing process for creating inked artwork on paper. I was a comic book artist on Ghost Rider The Hammer Lane back in 2000-2001 and this was a kind of a look back on the way that I used to draw him.

Hey Trent can you expand on your experience in comics? I know in another video you said it was hard to make a living in comics but it seems like there's so few people that can do it at such a high level. There's plenty of people that can draw decent but how many can really tell story through art and then also work on that schedule and keep pace without getting burned out. As for a suggestion on something to draw, I'd love to see your take on something 40k, like a favorite primarch or something.

Thanks for sharing Trent! Looks really good as per usual. Quick question if you've got the time: How long did it take for you to get to grips with the Warcraft/Hearthstone painting style? Just wondering as my strongest aspect is also illustration, but i'm trying to learn how to paint, and it feels like i just can't get my head around it.

Hey Trent, I saw this video and I really felt like trying to draw with one of these brush pens too. The one you use seems to pretty cool and I was wondering whats the name of it. Would you recommend me to buy such a brush pen or are there better ones for beginners? Maybe you could add it to your equipment list on amazon, that would be really nice :)

Lovely drawing, but I am the only one who thinks that the texture of the guash marks looks awful next to the beautiful, smooth ink drawing? Kind of like a pigeon pooped on the page here and there.

@@TrentKaniuga I like it too, but here, on an otherwise smooth surface, it looks out of place to me. Obviously, a matter of personal perception/preferences.
