@@godmangabe7 Where was the Bias? Ron Desantis was the human rights lawyer of the military branch at Guantanamo bay during the height of its torture practices. The detainees directly accused him of overseeing torture and failing to perform his duty as a human rights lawyer. There is no bias there if its all verifiable facts. Desantis needs to answer the question, but obviously he would deny any involvement. However, its still an immensely important questions to ask and the next reporter should have just asked the same question until he gave a reasoned response. Instead he sort of freaked out which only makes him look worse. Like a kid caught in a lie who is trying to spin some bogus story to their parents. I just wish the next reported had followed up with.

Some people can never be forgotten by their victims. One detainee who now lives in Europe was a guest on the podcast "Eyes Left " said DeSantis liked to watch them being tortured especially during the forced feedings. The detainee said detainees did this thing where they would throw their feces at the worst of their tormentors. It was reserved for the worst because their punishment would be severe but it was worth it for some people . Ron DeSantis was one of those tormentors that got a lot of poop thrown at him . Nobody has forgotten DeSantis and the time he spent at GITMO .. GITMO Ron always extreme and over the top should never be given power What did DeSantis do at Guantánamo? The more we hear about Gov. They used to restrain us in that feeding chair. They tied our head, our shoulders, our wrists, our thighs, and our legs. They put some kind of laxative in the feeding liquid. We were shitting ourselves all the time. Then we were moved to solitary confinement-really cold cells. It was like five times a day. It wasn’t feeding. It was just torture. Five times a day. You can’t possibly handle it. They just kept pouring the Ensure. In one week, they broke all the hunger strikers. And he was there. All of them were watching. They also used to beat us. And if we screamed or were bleeding out of our nose and mouth, they were like, “Eat.” The only word they told you was “eat.” We were beaten all day long. Whatever you were doing-they just beat you. Pepper spray, beating, sleep deprivation. That continued for three months. And he was there. He was one of the people that supervised the torture, the abuses, the beatings. All the time at Guantánamo

In Bagram Air Base Afghanistan I was a guard in the Army. We were all juiced out of our minds on steroids. We would beat on some of the detainees. We were investigated a few times. My Squad leader lost rank, but that was it. I came home and got out of the Army immediately.

They performed what were called the "Five Techniques" which the British Army used on internees during the Troubles (in this context, an internee is a victim of internment, or imprisonment without charge or trial). Sleep deprivation, deprivation of food and drink, stress positions, hooding, and subjection to loud noises. While the European Court of Human Rights ruled it as degrading, but not torture, that was how the US was able to defend themselves when they did it

I heard an interview of a Guantanamo Bay prisoner. DeSantis was supposed to be their human rights lawyer, but participated in the torture. Over force-feeding them Ensure when they were on a hunger strike. They got sick. The guy claimed that conditions were worse under DeSantis than anybody else. I cannot verify this but it sounds legit knowing what Tiny d is like. He doesn’t even try to hide his hatred for anyone who is not white and heterosexual.

@@epicfantasy Worthwhile to note that the reporter's leading question was BS like DeSantis said. He was a jag officer and his contact with detainees wouldn't have had anything to do with conducting interrogations, whether torture was involved or not.

Neither of the 2 detainees who've spoken of him said he tortured them. He has in their words only ever seen them get force fed.
