i've seen a few complaints about cg, and i have one myself concerning the androids attacking the city ruins, but you definitely have to consider the budget. the films most of us watch have ENORMOUS advantages in equipment, funding, and they have a much higher resource pile to pick talented actors, script writers, directors...... so how in the fuck did evolution happen T_T. this is flat out amazing for what it is, but a part of me just wishes someone would have hired the director (and maybe 17/18 cuz they were f'ing born for the android role) and had them produce "evolution" ;-;. so much money spent on making a worse live adaption than even lackluster fan films, much less something like this.

This is the 3rd time I've seen it. I still get chills and that last scene hits me right in the feels..very hard

The irony here is the fact that Gohan's final clash was with a one handed Kamahamaha with the androids and was defeated by a blast from behind before being overtaken. He fought with one arm in the cell saga, and defeated cell when Vegeta attacked him from behind. I don't know if this was intentional or not, but I loved it.
