Pac recorded 'Changes' in 1992 but it wasn't released until 1998, after Pac died in 1996, for Pac's 'Greatest Hits' album. So this is Pac at just 20/21 years old rapping about all this stuff that still relates to today.

"I've been practicing my whole life, to live my life to be responsible for what I do, I don't know how to be responsible for what every black male did,' the same applies to every one of us, we're not responsible for what another person does but we do have to be responsible for our own actions and our own behavior and make it mean something. All of us black, white, Asian, Hispanic, and any other race we have to stand up and stand together and be brothers and sisters and have one another's back. Time to unite in love.

I was lucky enough to grow up in a very diverse environment and since knee high, be educated to the way America works. I was pretty much raised on Pac. I always understood how deep and meaningful the lyrics were, but every year I get older, they are even more powerful. As a 37 year old white man, this song can make me tear up. No one has ever and will ever make you feel their words quite like Pac.

Tupac, a prince who belongs to the black kingdom. He meant alot to the white people, especially us who were young when he was alive. Race relations had improved alot during 80s n 90s, a little light in the darkness of the past. Tupac reminded white people that race relations might be better, but the black community still faced many hardships and struggles that we needed to recognize. I miss him.

Pac was the realest because he was able to show his sensitive side and angry side. We all don't just have one emotion. We need to find a way to connect to something that helps us deal with our many emotions. The reason people connected with this legend was because he spoke and preached about the good/bad & the happy/sad. He found a way to reach each and every person of every colour with his message because ALL of us could relate to Pac in "one way or another". I have yet to find another artist that does that for me like how Pac does. There will never be another like him.

Honestly after watching 20 Rage Against The Machine reactions and getting in that mood, im so happy for this song to spread its message everywhere. I couldn't keep it together when pac said 'black President', knowing what we have for a president now and that Pac lived long enough to see Trump get rich but he didn't get to see Obama. Pac didn't even get to see Jada & Will's kids, and just 2 weeks ago literally all of us were talking about how happy a guy like Will Smith made us. All these real people influenced all our lives, and everyone out there protesting are real ones that are making my life better, so thank you. A lot of people need to hear this man speak this week. Tupac was such a visionary. We lost so much when he passed. As you said, it's unfortunate these issues are still prevalent in our society. "They got money for wars but can't feed the poor". How much crime is a product of a socioeconomic system which creates desperation. At the end of the day, people are animals that will do what is necessary to survive. This is a basic instinct we cannot hope to ignore. But, as he said, we have to take responsibility for MAKING the changes we need in society. RIP Tupac. :(

Tupac had a big heart that he didn't know how to guard. Allowed the wrong people in his life that took advantage of him and his genius. When you are a leader trying to expose and rise up, you have to make sure you have the right people on your side. I read a book on Dr. MLK and one of his quotes I will never forget he said " there are twenty people in the room praying before they about to go protest and he still felt alone" I believe everytime you saw Tupac with his crew he felt that way too because when you think differently those around you can never fully understand. I wish the right people were around him because he would of never died the way he did.

I remember when he died... we were at the State Fair in Nashville and it was so quiet and we all cried together... that night all they played was his music on the rides and as we mourned together we were still together as 1... I'm 39 and this song is relevant every year... love you guys and your channel!! Ps #GoGators🐊

Tupac wasn't a rapper he was literally a poet and that what made him such a threat in the rap game. What Tupac was talking about is what still relevant today. Listen to "Me againt the world"

I grew up on this as a white women i took time and spent a lot of time in the ghetto by choice. I saw a lot of this, and met some of the greatest people there. Had fun, each race needs to bridge the gap. Heal everyone. Pac was a true profit. I love everyone, i love you brother.

Hey fam. I usually dont comment, but I love that you picked this. I havent heard it in a while and it is so fitting..I'm a combat vet and my best friend..No, my BROTHER is a black man. I've heard the struggles. When are we just gonna be equal humans. What's going on today is breaking my heart. I wore a uniform for this country. One human family. Thanks again for playing it. (Yeah, you got me teared up) Oh, Go Gators!

I used this song to teach college freshmen literary analysis. It's such a good song with so much to say. I wanted them to actually HEAR what Tupac was trying to say and maybe become part of the change instead of just accepting that that's just the way it is. Thank you for reminding me to listen. I think you would like the documentary "Crips and Bloods: Made in America" if you haven't seen it yet.
