I use to LOVE Little Critter! I had a ton of the books too! I cleaned out my bookshelf like 2 years ago and gave all of my Little Critter books to my little cousin and now he loves them too.

I have Little Critter books too but I didn't give them away to anybody and I got two new ones at the bookstore one is called just me and my babysitter and the other one is called the new baby

I loved reading to my daughter. She will be 18 in a few months. She has kept a few of these books as her favorites. We had so much fun reading when she was little. We'd often get in trouble 😂😂😂

I couldn't believe the difference between the books I bought for my son who was 8 when I had his sister. The books were originally called Little Monsters. Wiki confirms this but doesn't say what year or reason the monsters became critters.

I don't. I was looking to see when they changed them. I lived through it-I was a young mom for the early ones. All the early Mercer Mayer books were Little Monster with my son-all of them, which I still have. 8 years later with my daughter (1987), they were all Little Critters. I have both-looking at them both right now. Same exact stories and artwork, different title pages. I have two Just Me and My Dad with both names eight years apart and probably others-I haven't found them all yet. Possibly they were differently named in different places.

I am shocked and saddened by the Alabama and Arkansas bans on the Arthur episode "Mr. Ratburn and the Special Someone". In response, I am hopeful that 9 Story Media Group's currently-in-development "Little Critter" TV series will reveal Ms. Kitty to be a lesbian. As long as you yourself have a say in the matter, Mr. Mayer.

Why do so female child characters get portrayed brats and then most often become hated by audiences with the male child characters end up booming loved by audiences and kept empathy upon? This is not a good for self esteem among our daughters! Feminists ought to be angry about this rather than taking down the family!
