This movie in a ways was actually a preview of what was going to happen to Chris Pine and Lindsay Lohan in the future In 2006 Lindsay Lohan was on top of the world she sunk big time since has had only a few minor comebacks Chris Pine on the other hand was practically unknown in 2006 now he's almost on top of the world doing the Star Trek movies and Wonder Woman

That is just BS. Lindsay grew up in toxic household she did not have supportive parents. She was drinking at one point more so probably as a coping mechanism and self medicating like many other young actors and people and did drugs recreationally but definitely not to the point the media exaggerated. She was a household name as a child/teen and we know what happens to kids in entertainment. They are often used and abused. Usually if they want to speak up about the dark side of Hollywood what happens is deformation of character. Plus they were turning the tabloids against her who made millions on HER back. And what is that talk about her not looking great? She was a child back then obviously she aged. On a bay day on while intoxicated we all might look our best. She still looks great imp just older.

@@noemistephanie93 The original "Parent Trap" is better. The original "Freaky Friday" is infinitely better (& was adapted by the book's author, Mary Rodgers). "Mean Girls" has gotten endless unfavorable comparisons to "Heathers", which I love & which has been a major influence on other, lesser teen movies. Also, have never been a fan of Tina Fey. SNL should've been cancelled in 1990.

@@laustcawz2089 But how are the originals better? I’ve seen both of them and they aren’t as entertaining and are very long. The reason why I think the Freaky Friday remake is better is cause they showcase more of the relationship between the mom and the girl, they work together to fix what happened While in the original, Jodie Foster is rarely in any scenes with her mother and they just brush it off and act like it didn’t happen. There’s more of a plot with the remake plus it’s more hilarious and exciting with the music storyline. Now look I’m not saying the originals are bad cause they’re not: I’m just saying that the remakes were done better

I just watched this movie for the first time, and I have two questions: 1. How did Ashley not have any money the second she was fired? It was completely unrealistic that she had $0 in her bank account. 2. How did Jake not recognize Ashley as soon as he saw her? She was barely in disguise at the party.
