Great buck, you made the right call. The only deer that go to waste are the ones that spoil on the shoulder of the road. Healthy predators are part of a healthy ecosystem that helps grow animals like the one you’re holding! Cool hunt👍🏼

Had the same thing happen to me 2 years ago. Lots of emotions when the yotes get there first… You got my respect as a hunter & a person, Caleb. Rest assured, you did the right thing & your emotions show immense respect to the deer, although it’s not the outcome we ever strive for. Well done! Best of luck this fall
