Honestly this is one of my favourite channels, between the bees and travelling in the van I seriously can't wait for each episode, also love a catch and cook if you could actually catch something😉

I remember my first trip to Luxemburg, If it wasn't for a slight change in the road signs I'm sure I wouldn't have realized where I was. I did stumble across a most splendid Chinese restaurant that cooked the best crab and sweetcorn soup that I'd ever tasted.

that's an awsome van. you should tell your mate to fit a chinese diesel air heater. around £100 and uses about 5ltrs of diesel in about 28 hours on all the time on the lowest setting. I have one in a waterproof box connected to a 12v leisure battery for winter carp fishing, makes such a difference knowing I can get back in to a toastie warm bivvy

Alex, when you sort yours out look at a proper night heater, I went around Europe in a caddy and a sprinter, the sprinter had a proper night heater. Well worth it, especially if you travel in winter, when many European countries it is a legal requirement. If sleeping in your can.

Jim's pottery and his van are both VERY beautiful. I *CANNOT* wait until I see your finished van. American's name their cars because they're a big part of our lives, when you have a car you sometimes have it for AS LONG or longer than you have a pet, why not give it the love it deserves kinda like bringing it into your family? You made me realize it might be a very American thing, but my Red Prius is named Big Red and my fiancés SUV is named Freya. I think that it might originate from the fact that American's own cars at increasingly higher numbers than other countries, and therefore our culture kind of feels like cars are a necessity because the government doesn't provide good infrastructure for regular folks traveling across cities, states, or the united states itself.

Call the van shack. Also i wouldnt use planks as such in a caddy better off using insulation and four way stretch material over the ply lining. If you have the room raise the bed up to allow storage like most camper or use a hammock set up. Enjoy your away time and look forward to your self/friend build

Would of liking to see you cast a rod into that lake for the night. On trips like that you should bring a rod. I know you want to change from a fishing channel but the odd bit of fishing would be nice
