It's fine if you use hud mods, it's fine if you use custom heists, it's fine if you use mods that make the game better (Ai fixes, spawn tweaks, etc) as long as players are notified upon joining, it's fine if you use cheats in a Friends Only Lobby... But why would you even want to cheat with randoms? Why not just play alone? Is it because you want to show off and say "look at me! I can download stuff off the internet and allow it modify my game and probably have a key-logger in it that is stealing my credit card information!"

Payday really is a game where hacking is acceptable

I went from lvl 20 to lvl 80 in one Cook Off because the host was running Infinite Bags. I queued into the first assault and not really knowing what was going on. The other 3 dudes just told me to kills the police while they cooked and then guard dude as he just spawned bags like crazy. This was years ago, but ngl having all that XP and Money kept me playing because I had nothing before that cuz I didn't know what I was doing lmao

at the end when theyre throwing the bags in repetitively, theyre only doing that for the other players, as most mod menus for payday 2 have a button to generate 1 billion spending and 4 billion offshore

I can't imagine hackers beating the game with God mode when you can just use dodge.

For people who don't know, it's called Lua scripting. Overkill supports modding. Some mods would be considered cheating, and people who have cheating oriented mods get marked in-game as such. I don't see banning people as a "solution" because this is a player vs enemy game and not a PVP game. The other player doesn't have an unfair advantage. You can simply leave lobbies that have scripters in them or host your own. I don't know what is there to get so upset about unless they're able to harm your account in some way. Some BLT Lua mods can make the game x10 better, but a majority of people I play with are so ignorant of what they are.

Overdrill when you can carry every single bag on your back without having to use the vent and still be able to go at full speed it's great

Cheaters are still better than a person I met once. He/she was a host, and was only lazing around, waiting for others to do the job. And once the bags were in the van, he/she *KICKED EVERYONE*. For no reason. I'd rather play against cheaters than with people like him/her.

Well...Nowdays is almost commom to see some Hackers in action. I mean they cheese so much of the game that takes out the whole fun (I admit...seeing all cops converting to Jokers and dying was quite interesting...and also satisfing because we were playing Alesso Heist)

This is how broken this game is. New players don't even find it fun to play legitimately anymore. So they just go get Pirate Perfection and mess around.
