I enjoyed My Life With the Walter Boys (book & show). The book seems to deal slightly more with grief. Also, in the book, Mrs. Walter takes in her dead friend's daughter for a while, but the show has her actually being Jackie's legal guardian. And I can't wait to read another Ali Novak book, The Heartbreakers, which is about a girl unknowingly meeting a boy band member while wanting to get their autograph for her sick sister.

I've heard that My Life With The Walter Boys book isn't good and the show is so much better but idk because I haven't read it, and the show is so good.
