This car has seriously caught my eye. Automatic Transmission and 84HP. Middle arm rest. Heated Seats and Heated Steering Wheel. Cheesy retro design with cool digital dashboard. And it's all gonna end up costing well under 25.000€. This might end up being my next car.

From Australia. Excellent video. It's all too rare to have night driving car videos. The new 2024 Picanto looks very modern even futuristic. I'd personally prefer the speed Read Out Larger and in the Centre dash. I plan to buy one. Thanks again.

Yes. I have another Hyundai (i30 Turbo Premium) for longer trips, but need a 'city car' for shopping and tight parking spots around Greater Melbourne. thanks again. @@monroehehe

Fck! This is the car that I need but I will never buy it cause I'm in Canada and no more small cars are on sale. This Picanto is what I need since I drive mostly in city with very small trips. I must trade my old Rio soon and I could not find any small car for my needs. They only wanna sell SUV.

If my 2004 Hyundai Getz ever dies I'll buy that Picanto. the Hyundai Motor Group Vehicles are so reliable, my GETZ has lost 5bulbs, 1 new battery & 2 minor others in 19yrs.. @@monroehehe

North America ie. Canada & the USA should sell these cars as run-abouts and city cars. Aussie cars are all SUVs mainly Huge Utes. I'm sick of them.@@racineurr.8924

Love the Picanto. The Facelift was released here in South Africa about a month ago. But the price increased so much that it's unafordable for that size of a car. Yeah, there are a lot more specs added, but it just got too expensive. Sadly, I will stick to my 2015 pre pre facelift.😢

i bought this car in 2018, this was a small car, smallest car here in indonesia, but this thing bag a puch, a small car means better turning radius, better fuel mileage, nice handling and also comfortable. this thing never fails me, except if you happened to be a passenger behind me, except that all good. now i'm moving to bigger car kia rio

In Europe the automatik Transmission was replaced by an automatic gear switching manual gear box. That kind of transmission is unkomfortabel and has a poor acceleration. I am glad to have the first Picanto version of these Generation (pre facelift), wich was sold with a regular automatic transmission.

Very cool car, maneuverability and handling at the highest level. The best car for the city. Is there an automatic parking function? Automatic transmission and petrol are great. We are looking forward to Russia!

The 2024 Picanto looks good. I just got a 2023 GT turbo 1.0 litre version. Kia are not making GTs anymore.

Despite looking good inside and out, this type of vehicle won’t make it in the US as small cars are very unpopular here. If it were sold in the states, the pricing would start slightly above the Mirage but below the Nissan Versa. The GT Line would probably be priced lower than the Soul GT Line (around $25,000 for Soul GT Line). Least the engine is better than the Mirage which is only 76 hp but Mitsubishi is killing off the Mirage after this model year.

@@racineurr.8924majority of them do actually. Of course there are exceptions as everywhere. Delivery trucks and Kia Carnival drivers among them. I have this small car and always wonder why do you need anything faster here.

Was there a problem? I am looking at this for my Australian wife. I have the Sorento with diesel and dual clutch auto. So far 60,000kms and 2 years old. I like the dual clutch. It is a bit quirky in car park manoeuvring at first, but I am use to it now.

디자인은 많이 좋아졌지만 터보없는 1.0엔진은 너무 심하네요... 개인적으로 아반떼 1.6도 나쁘지 않게 잘 나간다 생각할 정도로 다른 분들에 비해서는 엔진 힘에 대한 기준이 낮은 편이지만 이런 저 조차도 1.0 자연흡기는 너무 심각하다고 생각되는 수준입니다. 톨게이트 출발 할 때 풀악셀로 밟으셨겠지만... 누가봐도 풀악셀이 아닌 것 같아보이네요.

No analoque meters anymore in the cockpit. the previous models had digital switch counter in the middle between the analogie clocks.much nicer..this feels cheaper .. and way too big led backlighs ..too much if you compare the size of the car ..i,m no fan of the Grill... the 2020/ 2021/2022 /2023 is in my opinion a much nicer design car. Especially the dynamic plus line or the GT or XLine

I agree. The side view looks fantastic but heads on and rear is simply bad. 2020 was a peak design for this model without the cheap looking plastic skirts. It’s downhill from there. We own 2022 model.

@@Phelec59 Advanced smart cruise control (A.K.A ADAS ). But, I don't think this car has ASCC because this car does not have EPB. This car seems to have SCC only. The diffence is SCC does not support full stop, whereas ACSS supports full stop and restart.

WTF. Why bigger? Every fcgkn other vehicle on this planet is bigger. 2024 models are all bigger than 2023. You might have heard of old land yachts. They were supposed the be the giants of giants. Pachyderms like they were baptised. Well a modern SUV is even bigger, taller and heavier than an old 1975 Pontiac Parisienne 4 doors station wagon! If you want a big car to drive, get a SUV.
