crying around the bars is the cheapest excuse, when all the French dancers have always competed with bars behind their backs and especially the twins have always had bars in tournaments stop fucking around. If you cry for this, what you have left for the competitors of other countries in the tournaments held in France, you have to deal with the bars of the French dancers you find all the tournaments ... and if they lost it was not because of the bars, they lost so that they showed in their rounds. don't be pathetic.

@@sar4893 What French does it mean ? Diablo and Stalmuerte are from France too... So, ok Les Twins used to play with public and win battle with his tactics. On this point, I agree with you. But why french ? The entire world jealous the talent of french dancers and it s boring. Can we judge the dance without national ego ? Moreover, we can regret that hip hop dance play more with attitude than dance skills. For a guy from oldschool (poppin especially, locking is a dance where the dancers play with atittude in my opinion), he can regret it. When I looke Krump, the attitude of support guy is too much. @@labelant without putting any countries into context, simply put: Diablo & Stalamuerte had the better flow & combo. You could have the best musicality in the world, but if your flow is all choppy like LT here, it doesn't translate neatly at all

Diablo has always had short rounds, even shorter than that. It has never stopped them from winning competitions and getting to the final of JD a few times.

@@Arnoboy93 And that is a problem in those cases as well. Cutting your round short by not dancing anymore and sitting down in front of the crowd is not dancing. This is a dancing competition. Who were the judges in those situations? The ability to maintain an entire round should be taken into account. I see "having short rounds" as running out of juice and stalling. To see it otherwise is simply stupidity. Remove the crowd from the equation for a second and look at a short round. It should not pass.

To say that the twins now lost due to time or that Diablo and Stalamurte walked by is just an excuse, they were better in the 2 rounds and the time that each round lasts is determined by the dancer since there is no clock they could finish it whenever they want Putting that to believe they are going to lose is just a cheap excuse.

@@worldwarriorscollectiv4207 that's just time not to spend more than the bill and that is cut by the announcer is not timed, there is no clock that determines the dance time as in some few tournaments, so a dancer can cut his round at any time does not exist a minimum time to use and that is normal in most dance battles and of all styles, not just hiphop, and that the twins would like me to continue is just their thing because devil had already finished his round.

AlieZ Lmao is this your first time watching Diablo? Well, don’t worry... you won’t need to watch him again since he’ll probably do the same routine for the next 3 years. Also, I agree you don’t have to dance for 173619264729153726153 minutes but at least dance for 50secs - 1min. Don’t just recycle old combos for 20 seconds and spend the rest of your time jumping around.

@@imkotable I have watched Diablo for 2 years. Go watch Fusion Concept 2017 and look at Diablo and Stylez' choreo as well as rounds. Their individual and combo sets are the exact fucking same as the ones you see here. Diablo's signature reek of unoriginality. He has done that same leg balance move forever. Trust me. Stylez may have evolved considerably, I will give him that to a sense that he is not as recognizably unoriginal as Diablo, but at the same time, they do the same shit in every match. I give props to Les Twins for pointing that out when they bit their choreo.

Here's the thing: Les Twins actually did full freestyles with some slick and short choreographed twinning moves thrown in it. Diablo & Stalamuerte's first round on the other hand was 100% choreography. And not only that, their second round was really weak with barely any musicality, AND THEY ONLY DANCED FOR HALF THE TIME! They literally didn't dance for 30 seconds! This is just sad.

You're ALLOWED to dance under 1 minute, you just can't dance OVER 1 minute. People are just dick riding the outrage and don't even understand the basic rules gtfoh.

You can hate les twins as much as you want, but if you’re a dancer or a fan of dancing, there is no way you have Diablo beating Laurent in that second round lol!! I know that we’re all tired of seeing les twins winning and stuff, but we at the same time can’t start to hate for no reason. Let’s be honest here. I'm a fan of dance, i even met them (diablo and les twins) and imo diablo clearly won the second, he dance less time but just tell me who have more energy and who was more on the music? Clearly diablo, plus they stole a step from diablo (orginality/20) and no one hate les twins bruh... They just lost this time , chill.

2 Dro lol! I said that The 1st round they lost because they did one of Diablo moves. However, Laurent had all in his second round. He controlled the stage, he had the energy, his musicality was on point, and he danced for the entire time he was given. That’s an automatic win. You can’t win by dancing for 20 seconds and then start jumping around the stage for no reason. It was clearly a tie. Style z beat Larry, but Laurent definitely beat Diablo.

What you didn‘t see is that Diablo was on point the whole performance except for the part he ran around etc. Laurent had a good round as well but he wasn‘t on point as Diablo. Laurent put a lot of information in his dance but it wasn‘t in with same energy of the music as Diablo did. And from the cypher-battle perspective Diablo did answered to the bited signature move pretty well. In addition to that he did a move at 4:24 which can be referred to Les Twins as well which gave also a reference to their previous round. So you see the communications in this battle very clearly and Diablo dealt with it pretty well. Of course you can‘t judge by the hype but you can judge the moment and Diablo catches the moment pretty well.

@@arbirayen2802 I specifically meant this competition during this particulat year, and I'm pretty sure that was contextually obvious. And I dont think they are bigger than juste deboute itself when it remains one of the most premiere and prestigious battle competitions on the planet, and the twins at times cant even compete on the level of dancer that is drawn to it(like in this video for example). Yourw also forgetting them winning in 2011 is literally what skyrocketed them into the limelight, because that is what earned them Beyonce's attention and their subsequent first US tour I believe. Ive been following them since 2010, so all of my criticism and opinions come from a genuine place. They remain my favorite dancers to watch, I just dont think they are literally the best in the world. They are absolutely among the most successful dancers in the world. But I dont think they're bigger than, well, dance itself lol.

Their success on WOD, touring, and mainstream media like movies and appearances on big shows eclipses everything other battle dancers have done. Tight Eyez is the closest to them in that regard and even he's eclipsed. There's a reason they make so much money and every video they're in blows up. It's more about success than winning battles, even though they've won their fair share of tournaments. Honestly feel they should've won every major tournament they were in this year (JD, WODC, FC, and BB). Only real competition they've had is Tight Eyez who I felt narrowly beat Larry and narrowly lost to Laurent. The finals for JD 2019 and FC 2019 were both extremely boring since the best battles were the twins in the semis. In WODC and BB the best battle was again in the semis, but between the twins and Justiciers, Dykens, and Rubix.

En prenant le temps de regarder encore ce battle , on peut dire que le règlement de compte y est. Les deux parties ont assurées grave . Mais à bien y regarder , je reste un peut perplexe sur le choix du jury. Je ne suis pas fan des twins en raison de la polémique dans mon ile lors de leur passage mais là pour le coup j'aurai aimé un tie break . Il aurait été sage de relancer la partie vue les présentations et intentions des deux rivaux .Je pense que le jury a décidé en fonction de l'ambiance autour. Il aurait mieux valu à mon avis refaire un passage par danseur .C'est cela la danse également . Big respect à eux !

Y’all do know that the twins did Diablo’s move on PURPOSE to taunt him right? People do that shit in battles. And he got triggered, rightfully I’d be annoyed too if someone was mocking me. But the twins didn’t “steal” his move right there, it was to mock him because he uses that move a lot. And stop saying the twins always steal his moves and shit. LT are 3-4 years older than him, they already had some sort of their own style before diablo started dancing with them on criminalz, for years they battled together as a group so of course they created together and have some similar moves. if you notice in some of rubix battles he uses some of the twins style/moves like he does with other criminalz members. Waydi and rocksha did once or twice too. If you dance together for so long it happens. BUT this one move they did on purpose to taunt him.

I'm not even a Les Twins fan but if you end your round before the judges call time that is essentially the same as choking and you typically lose the round with the exception in maybe breakdancing cause of powermoves.

Update: I forgot that Just Debout do this nonsense where the crowd is muted so it's possible that the judges were "forced" to give the crowd what they wanted and we can clearly see who the crowd likes from the video even without hearing the audio.

Not true, you're allowed to stop before the timer end, there is no rule that you have to dance the full 45second or 1min... If you as a dancer feel so comfortable in your 20,30 or even 40 second dance then you have the right to stop

@@KiiroSagi well no, when a dancer runs out of material you will see that as a dancer you know when a dancer run out of material and its not when he or she stop before the timer, if you think like that as a judge then I as a dancer have and will disagree with you, If dancer a dance with mad confident that he's better than his opponent and then you judge say no ONLY because he didn't dance full round, then that is bias, you can say oh but you didn't have more material compared to your opponent or something else... I have seen enough dancer not dancing their full round and shown that they indeed better than their opponent. A battle is a battle, know the weakness of your opponent to win. For me this should have been a tie nothing more

What you are talking about only works when there is a big between the two dancers skill levels, that is clearly not the case here and is rare enough to say it never happens in a serious tournament. "Weakness of your opponent?" by your reasoning the person who goes first has can never win since they do not yet know their opponents weaknesses. It's a competition with attitude, that's it, it's not chess or UFC. 2 artists cannot battle each other's artwork, simply do their best and let others decide who used the canvas better.

The most backwards battle I’ve seen for ages! Not physically dancing for more than 20 seconds should of been a instant disqualification! As a dancer myself this has angered me for the reason the judges reacted to the others mates at the side, Les Twins musicality, moves, performance and entertainment towards the crowd was on point... Shows nowadays the young ones only want crowd reactions not actual appreciation of dance...

I personally think Diablo/Stylez C deserved it (this coming from a long time massive Twins fan, they're my all time favs still so). They had better flow for one, I love Lau to death but his flow was all over the place (even if it makes sense with the rhythm of the music, idk if that makes sense). Larry's flow was better but his vocab was rather weak compared to what I saw in the prelims. Stylez imo had better vocab (esp 2:43). I agree about Diablo's round being too short, but I can also see why it was enough to win. It be like that sometimes, you know?

@@TotemDaim a lot actually. let's reflect: -their first round was 70% choreo, usual choreo too - nothing out of the ordinary and identical to their 10 other routines from other battles -their second round was insultingly short without proper delivery to support its length. diablo didn't do anything magnificent to deserve to only dance less than half of his time. that leg drop's been done since 2016 in that same manner. -their dancing here cannot have been any more basic. i've watched them both for 3 years and seen no evolution.

Im flabbergasted...like first of all the first half of the first round by diablo and his partner were clearly choreographed. Laurent should have won that second round without hesitation since diablo danced for like 20 SECONDS anyways?!

Diablo e Stalamuerte não respeitaram o tempo de dança e mandaram a mesma coisa de sempre! O único que dançou mesmo foi o Diablo mas mesmo assim mandou o mesmo... Les Twins respeitaram o tempo de dança e os dois arrebentaram!!! Aconteceu a mesma coisa com Waydi e Rocha, foram roubados na cara de pau. Parece que o público já tinha um preferido, se Diablo e Stalamuerte solta um peido geral iria subir no palco pra ficar pulando e fazer zorra.

Além de Diablo e Stalamuerte dançarem quase parado no mesmo lugar, repetir passos de batalhas anteriores e não fazerem nada inovador, pararam de dançar faltando 30 segundo pra acabar. Enquanto Les Twins utilizaram muito mais espaços da arena, coreografia e improviso. Ainda roubaram pros caras, só o Rochka parceiro do Waydi quando batalharam contra Diablo e Stalamuerte, sozinho já tinha acabado com os dois, Waydi e Rochka dançaram MUITO melhor, o Waydi sempre foi de aceitar de uma vez só, por mais que ele tenha sido melhor, se acharem que o oponente dele ganhou ele só aceita e fica na dele.

@PainWAY Les Twins, as únicas coisas que eles mandam desde 2011 são as assinaturas deles, os estilos de dança dos gêmeos já mudaram muito lá de 2011 pra cá, e melhoraram muito o estilo, o foco da música e a musicalidade. E não foi atoa que a própria Just Debout colocaram os gêmeos como novos jurados de batalhas grandes agora, de tanto perceberem que essa votação dos jurados foram MUITO injustas...

@PainWAY Danço sim manin, desde os 8 anos, hoje tenho 20, reparei sim nos power moves, aproveitaram muito as músicas, os detalhes, as viradas da música, dançaram demais, mas tava muito nítido a vitória, Diablo e Stalamuerte dançam um pouco fora do beat e a única coisa que encaixavam bem os passos eram nos detalhas causando mais impacto do movimento com beat. E o que ajudou mais ainda eles ganharem foi ter os amigos atrás fazendo uma zona e gritando a qualquer coisa que os dois faziam, os jurados nem votaram por quem dançou melhor, e sim pelos que receberam mais gritos e a dupla que foi a mais favorita da turma... Muitos dançarinos fizeram reacts dessa batalha e até disseram também que os jurados votou pra quem recebeu mais gritos e taos...

If you think dance without a groove is hip hop you need a wake up call, so here it is: Hip Hop is naturally against mainstream and is underground When an underground culture is hijacked by people who don't understand it and don't respect or care for it, it is no longer itself Therefore this is not Hip Hop It bugs me how it's thrown around like it has no meaning. Freestyling without a groove? Hip Hop Worlds largest dance event? Hip Hop RnB? Hip Hop Trap? Hip Hop Stop misusing the term! The culture can, will and has changed but if it does so it's by people who live Hip Hop, who are Hip Hop, who understand it. Almost all dancers in Juste Debout fall outside this category, this includes, without a doubt, all dancers in this battle.

it was a tie but i don't like the twins haters in the final. they spoil the game. The group behind diablo was stupid and only in hate. In addition the judge was weak because they was influence by one group. Juste debout since the waidy drama in 2016 was weak in judgement.

Le problème aussi c que les twins sont pas aimé par les français (même en Europe tout court, leur battle en pré-sélection à Londres, tout la foule était contre eux..). C'est triste parce que honnêtement s'ils avaient ajouter un troisième round et que les twins avaient gagné, je pense vraiment qu'ils auraient battu waydi et rochka en final qui n'étaient pas à leur top non plus! En battle, les twins sont pas à leur best et spécialement Larry (qui selon moi est sa pire année, y a un manque de cohérence et de groove dans ses mouvements et on voit l'hésitation. En 2016/2017 il était vraiment à son meilleur! Il s'est bcp trop reposé sur ses signatures ici et n'a pas assez "freestylé") Laurent les a vraiment porté tous les deux aux pré-sélections et aux finals! Je pense qu'on peut leur reprocher le fait qu'ils sont pas venu avec la rage de gagner comme en 2011 (ce qui est compréhensible vu tout ce qu'ils ont accompli), ils auraient pu faire bcp mieux avec leur routine aussi plutôt que d'imiter la signature connu de Diablo qui lui a foutu la haine et au public! C débile aussi de reprocher aux twins d'être répétitif (surtout que le round de Laurent était 100% freestyle à part deux signatures) alors que Diablo est extrêmement répétitif si tu regardes tous ces ffesstyles et en plus ils sont tjs très courts. Tellement de choses à dire sur ce battle et sur le juste debout tout court cette année qui à été décevant alors que l'affiche était incroyable! Le pire c que le juste debout a vraiment profiter de la participation des twins pour promouvoir l'événement et puis les a traiter avec aucun respect!

Oui tu as tt dit. J y étais et je suis parti avt la fin tellement j avais la haine. Comme dirait un pote ce qui s annonçais grandiose est devenu un cauchemar. Et Bruce qui dit qu on ne peut pas gagner tt le temps. Certes its a fact, mais perdre pcq il y à triche. Pcq pour c ça. Je ne suis pas fan des twins et avec l expérience je sais reconnaître qd ils sont bons et qd ils ne le sont pas à l'instar de leur fame Effectivement tu l as très bien dit Larry à stagné de fou ,il est trop sur le flow, j étais vraiment septique concernant là finale à paris pcq y avait un d'équilibre énorme entre Laurent et Larry ils n étaient pas aussi complémentaires qu en 2011. Ils sont victimes de leur succès malheureusement pcq qu on est en France. En tt cas cette mafia qui règne ds le underground m à obligé à sélection les danseurs que je regarde ,il en sera de mm pour les évents . Le jd c comme les grammys : vendu comme la scène la plus prestigieuse/en tant qu artistes /danseur mais qui ne récompensent aucunement les meilleurs en tt cas pr cette année. Le temps de salah et autre est révolue.

les twins sont grave apprécié en France . le problème c'est que les provocations fait dans les gestes des twins et l'imitation faite par larry n'a pas plus sur le coup et a emmener tout le publique derrière diablo. si non je trouve le passage de laurent lourd lourd celui de diablo aussi mais trop court. ca meritait un autre passage pour donner un vrai verdict.

Jsuis totalement d'accord avec ce que t'as dis (à part que pour moi Larry était vraiment au top en 2012/2013). Après je suis partagé parce que j'avais regardé les préselections de Londres, pour moi ils avaient tout défoncé sauf pour le battle contre Filo & Bogdan qui pour moi méritaient d'aller en finale mais bon après c'est que mon avis. Après pour Paris effectivement c'est injuste, comme l'a dit un autre dans les coms j'aurai aimé voir un autre round. Donc d'un autre côté pour moi ils auraient pas dû être en finale, et de l'autre jsuis triste pour eux parce qu'ils se sont un peu fait voler là. Et je pense qu'ils sont apprécié en France mais un truc qu'aux US ils trouvent "stylé" et que nous on trouve lourd (ce qui peut expliquer les nombreux haters français), c'est leur "over-confidence", ils peuvent se la ramener ils ont de quoi mais des fois c'est vraiment vraiment too much. Ya qu'à voir toutes leurs stories instagram avant la finale, ils se la ramenaient beaucoup beaucoup trop. Ils étaient plus du tout en mode "battant" comme en 2011 mais + en mode "de toutes façons on a déjà gagné", perso je me disais en voyant leurs stories que le karma allait frapper et ça a pas loupé, après ils y sont pour rien, mais je pense que c'est ce genre d'attitude qui dérange beaucoup en France. Ya qu'à voir les rappeurs et autres stars aux US, là bas ce genre de comportement est apprécié, en France beaucoup moins.

Also on top of that...Diablo didnt have to dance for a full round.....he made such a statement within the first half of his round with the energy and passion proving a point and making a stand for his style. That doing a full round would've been less beneficial. I dont agree with the unanimous decision but I do understand the win. But yall gotta understand battles

I'm a fan of Les Twins. The first rfound was Tie-ish. The second round Laurent's musicality was a little off, the way it gets sometimes when he's very hyped up and relying on his power moves. His competitors musicality was tighter than his at the bottom of round two

Even with the time issue, I would still give the win to Diablo. I love Les twins but I've seen a good amount of those moves before and Larry specifically has used a couple of Diablo's move throughout the years.

DivyneGemineye why do some of you think they’re just Diablo’s moves? They were on the same crew for years and the twins are a couple years older than him, 3-4 i think. the twins had their own style then diablo joined the crew so they obviously created shit together and have some similar moves. Larry didn’t “steal”’any of diablo’s moves. Also when the twins did his move in this battle it was on purpose to mock him.

They were in the same crew but Diablo parted ways. This video clearly showed at least one issue that Diablo had with the twins. Remove your bias for the twins the same way that I did and do some research

DivyneGemineye lmaooo I’ve done my research I’ve known of them since 2011 and have followed diablo since then as well. I’m not being bias. They’ve used and created moves together, the twins purposefully used “Diablo’s signature” here to mock him. But that other move he said, the slow running in place whatever you call it, is a move that they’ve all used and none of them created it. It’s been used since the 80s

All the way back 10 or so years ago. Now that they’re not in the same crew, he’s bothered. But that move has been around long before any of them by other dancers, poppers etc
