Heard this song with my daughter for the first time recently and I absolutely Love it! Added it to my playlist and every time I hear it it brings me some sort of peace and closer to God. Didn’t know what the song meant and I searched it and I am so happy they translated the words. Well, this an Amazing song which resonates deeply in the spirits of all who hear it. It has been translated more than once and although the translations are in parts similar - it is more an ode to one's Homeland - Africa ( Christianity was brought in by others!). There were powerful belief systems already in place amongst the various peoples - going back generations - Glory to Africa 🇨🇦☮️🌹

😭 years ago this was one of my favourite songs to listen to and at the time I didn’t know what it meant I can only understand “mainly” English and Tongan but this song just had a Christian spiritual meaning to it that I could vibe to. And after reading the English lyrics and understanding what it actually means, I’m in 😭. Proud to be Christian and so true, my place is not here 😭 and my Kingdom is not here 😭 thanks for sharing! ❤
