i fully sympathise with the victims of Grenfell but i think if we are to criminalise those who made mistakes at Grenfell and ask for people to be put in jail for mistakes, should we not ask for surgical teams in hospitals for example to put in jail too for mistakes in NHS or private healthcare operating theatres to also be judged this way too. we need proper investment in the built environment including highways to ensure there are enough resources there to allow works to be inspected properly and for a change in lane from the fast to the middle lane - we live in the age of quantity where profit comes first - to ensure projects get built safely albeit at a slower pace because when projects or operations are rushed there is more likely to be mistakes made.
