It has eleven judges who stand guard over the Constitution and protect the citizens' human rights. Justice Albie Sachs was among the first Justices to sit on its bench. he explains the history and role of the court.

Why do you cut short such an important interview?? Justice Sachs what a great service you have been in the judiciary of our beloved country. The justices my vote in a particular way, owing to their convictions hence it would be folly to assume they may peddle the agenda of the current president with their "thoughtless 15 months sentence ruling".
