Those are for sanitary spaces used in hospitals and other healthcare facilities. It’s PPE - personal protective equipment. Keeps you safe from deadly diseases and illnesses infecting patients. I wore them along with other PPE when I cared for my patients with covid.

The plastic booties have been around for at least 20 years. I worked for a company that sold them to Real Estate Agents, Law Enforcement and Medical Buildings back in the early 2000's. The company was called Rapid Booties. They did at one time try to sell them at retail stores like I think Menard's carried them for awhile but no one really bought them in the retail sector. The major purchasers for the booties were from Real Estate companies that would put them at open houses so people didn't track in dirt.

The shoe cover machine could be helpful. When I was a housekeeper for a retirement community? I did have to put shoe covers on because certain residents had a thing about dirt. Since we cleaned bathrooms(floors could be sticky for obvious reasons), we never removed our shoes. It was interesting that the residents and their visitors didn't remove their shoes, just we employees.

Actually, there has to be these in several places in the hospitals now, these are especially what the surgeons wear over top of their shoes in the operating room, even their assistants, nurses and, lab techs, x-ray techs and, CY scans and, so, on! That way it protects their shoes from all those, strange odd unexpected things that could happen, it’s a safety measure to keep things sanitary and so, their expensive shoes don’t get ruin!

There’s no point in the flower pot being a safe. It’s a good hiding spot but the point of a safe is to be either too be hard to break into while also being big/heavy, bolted to something, or to protecting things from fire. If someone is robbing you and they knew it was a safe they would just steal the safe and break into it later
