I have a small farm with sheep. During the fall, one of the sheep abandoned one of its babies. I ended up raising that baby. Whenever I was upset, I'd go and tell Rolly, because he wouldn't tell. He would kick the back door so he could be let in. He would partially lose his voice from bleating so much cause he wanted to be in the yard instead of with the other animals. He suddenly died on November 30th. He was just about to be 4 months old. It might seem weird to some, but he was my baby. I miss his baby bleats and his knocking on the back door. I miss having something to look forward to when i got home from school. I miss being able to talk to someone with trust. I used to never care about this song and change it when it came on the radio, but now, I cry every time it comes on. I named him Rolly like the hungry dalmatian in 101 Dalmatians. He was white it a black belly and black spots. He really loved to eat. He loved the leaves from our plum tree. He slept on the doormat in the backyard so that every morning when I went outside to feed him, he'd be right there. The number of times he broke my toe nails with his hooves. I feel bad for ever being impatient with him. I feel bad for letting him go out into the field because the cow stomped on him and killed him. I feel dumb for having this kind of connection with a sheep, but he was my baby. I raised him and I spent so much time with him. My friends met him and held him and fed him snacks. I hope that there are a lot of plum trees in heaven for him

I don't know if anyone ever will read this or understand how I'm feeling but I lost my dog in December. He's been with me for more than half of my life (I'm 24 currently). He died of cancer. His past 2 months have been very hard on both him and my family. He didn't recover from the cancer removal surgery cause it caused the cancer to break out on a different spot we didn't even know was there. After a little bit of time where we tried to treat it he got very weak all of the sudden. He had sleeping paralysis and got panic attacks. I was able to calm him down by singing to him some times. But I knew, this was his last fight. We let the vet put him down to end his suffering. When we entered the clinic he always refused to walk in for all his life, but this time he did not even needed to be asked. He knew that we would help him. I got to say my good bye and gave him all the love I had and still have. I miss him more than life. Cause he is the reason why I am alive. He was there, the only rock I had at both my suicide attempts back in 2013 and in 2020. He gave me the reason to stay alive. And now he's gone and it will be hard finding another reason to not do something I will regret. But he still is giving me strength to fight. He was there for me and fought for me so I can stay alive, now I owe him to actually do, even tho he isn't here with me, sleeping in my bed and protecting me from my depression. I will forever be thankful for every single second I had with him. I want this song to be the one I remember him with. He was the light of my life. And I miss him so bad. I love you my sweet boy. My perfection. My heart. May you have fun up in heaven and wait for me, cause one day I will fluff your fluffy ears again. Good night sweet boy. ❤️
