Justin Fancy teams up with Newfoundland folk artist Ron Kelly to cover of a 1928 classic.
Ron, a Joe Batt's Arm native, is a skilled and heart-felt songwriter who has been entertaining audiences at kitchen parties and concert halls from the time he was a young man, and most recently performs with his band Middle Tickle, who recorded the popular "Joe Batts Arm Longliners" in 2000.
Justin and Ron's similarities in tastes for country and folk music provides the perfect combo to cover a song first recorded by the Carter Family that was said to be a defining moment in time for country music.

Thank you so much thats the first song i learned on my dads old guitar when i was 13 listening to old 33 albums back then learned a few more after that now im 62 and that brought back some memories for me bless all of you you played the song well.❤❤❤❤❤

Irish Ron meets Country Justin .. "Newfoundland Country" , hell of a harmony there,,, the producer certainly had an ear for the song, the musicians .the instruments and the voices ..... great mix all.. just lovin it bye..
