My friend asked for my advice as to who he should take with the 3rd overall pick… I said Justin Jefferson. He said that was too high to take a receiver. He took Ekeler instead and while at this point, Ekeler has ~5 more points, I think it’s fair to say that taking a WR that high is not a bad decision. The dude is averaging 117 yds/game and his catch % is 69 (nice). His catch % versus Buffalo was 62.5 and he was only open (more than 3 yards of separation) on one play! Tyreek might be the most dynamic (and probably the best) but if Hill is a 99, JJ is a 98.7.

A lot of amazing things at play here: he not only caught it, but had to take it away from a defender, keep the ball from hitting the ground, and maintain control. Oh, and it was 4th and 18 on a deciding play late in the 4th quarter to boot. Simply amazing!

Never thought I would see a catch better than Odell now 8 years ago. The body contortions are about the same but this catch is better simply because JJets had to time his leap well enough to moss the defender directly behind him. He even had to pin the ball against his leg. Best WR in the game right now ahead of Kupp and Chase.

Idc what anyone says. That’s the greatest catch ever. As great as Odell’s was, this was even better. Jefferson caught it 1 handed at the highest point while the Bills defender had it for a clear pick.
