I agree with you. I don't think Kirk will finish the season healthy. That ATL line isn't as good as everyone is saying.

A couple of things wrong with your assessment: #1 Kirk has been making his receivers look good for years. He had two 1000 yard receivers when he was in Washington. Kirk put up stratospheric numbers in Washington despite having limited weapons. In 2016, he passed for 4,917 yards. None of his pass-catchers were All Pros or Pro Bowlers. In Kirk’s first year with the Vikings, Stefon Diggs had his first season of 1,000 receiving yards (plus his second season). Also, in Kirk’s first year in Minnesota, Adam Thielen is the only player in NFL history to start a season with the most consecutive games with 100+ receiving yards. And with Kirk as their quarterback, Diggs and Thielen gave the Vikings their first pair of 1,000+ yard receivers since Randy Moss and Cris Carter in 2000. And after Justin Jefferson got hurt, Kirk turned Jordan Addison into an immediate starter as he would have easily had a 1000+ yards had Kirk not gotten hurt. #2 A worse coached offense? In Kirk's first year with Kevin O'Connell (who called plays in the pre-season, just like Robinson...and both worked under McVay), the Vikings went 13-4 despite having the 31st ranked offense and 28th ranked run game. And....the Vikings were #1 in situational football that year which is something that O'Connell learned from McVay which contributed to most of the wins. #3 A 7-10 season? Seriously? The Falcons have a much better run game and defense than the Vikings had.

​@@ksizzle1488 Yeah, about that o-line. You are obviously not aware of how bad the Vikings' o-line was in pass protection. It was bottom of league during Kirk's time in MN. And yet...Kirk produced 4000+ yards and 30+ TDs like clockwork. His statistical output was in spite of, not because of his pass protection. And .... Kirk still never missed a game due to injury. The Falcons' pass protection sure isn't bottom of the league. #2 For the past 11 years, the Vikings never had all five offensive linemen start two years in a row. That is not an issue with the Falcons. #3 With the Falcons, no linemen are gonna step on Kirk's foot (three times in one season) OR knock the ball out of his hands. #4 If this was Brady who had a torn Achilles, would you still think that he wouldn't finish the season?? Because Kirk does everything that Brady did and then takes it one step further.

@@Paula-mv8im Pass protection is the only thing the Vikings o-line does well with maybe the best tackle duo in the league. On top of that, the redskins receivers were anything but bad when Kirk was there. Pierre Garçon and Desean Jackson while not all time receivers were elite. On top of that, the Vikings receivers had spent their entire careers without a real quarterback. Obviously when any somewhat competent quarterback comes in they’re going to have a breakout season. Finally you didn’t say anything about Kirk’s age or injury which were the biggest parts of my argument. Similarly, I think Aaron Rodgers will look pedestrian even though I think Garrett Wilson has top 5 upside as a receiver.

Also in what world did the Vikings have a 31st ranked offense in 2022? I believe that’s where the defense was under ed Donatell but the offense was at least top ten in every category
