I just wonder why he needs this big boat under his feed when he's wearing a security belt anyway. He could have flown on a small plattform instead. With the security belt on, the whole idea of a flying stage element doesn't make sense to me.

The "big boat" was a giant digital screen that was used on stage as a visual prop all night. For the final song all the sudden it lifted off the stage and JT was randomly up there.

This adds kick ass wow factor, something that size suspended out over the crowd. I only saw this on this YT video, and it made total sense. I've seen Tina Turner on a giant arm reached out above the crowd, Reba McIntyre on a chunk of suspended stage, Paul Stanley on a zip line ... anytime this interaction with the audience happens ... creates the memory and my ticket money well spent!

It was a wired cage. I was at the show last night Lexington, KY. When light hit it a certain way you cool see through it. Incredible 3D projection.
