He cut the back of a closet to create a deep door frame capable of fitting those doors. Plus, the original door to that room is left intact, so they can still get out of the room quickly in an emergency.

This is a FIRE HAZARD! If there’s a fire and your kid is stuck in there and can’t get out it will be disastrous. Please change it back. You need fast opening fire doors, you can’t have a door with 5 layers of things to open when there’s smoke and pitch black and everything is roasting hot with fire, you need one door that you can open fast and run!
