@eggyboi1217
@eggyboi1217 2 жыл бұрын
In my opinion, electric guitars get the majority their tone from their pickups and whatever amp you put them through. Tone wood really only makes a difference in acoustics.
@SoulofAncient
@SoulofAncient 2 жыл бұрын
@@eggyboi1217 You're honestly correct. There are a few people who have done proper scientific test of this to find the only thing tone wood changes in electrics is the length of resonance. Even then it's hardly anything and the change in tone is pretty much imperceptible to the human ear

Your 9 string guitar is the reason I fell in love with my twelve string again, or now 9 string. I always had the problem of "too much octave string not enough normal string" when picking the lower strings with my thumb. So I only used it for strumming. When only strung with 9 strings the problem is gone, and I can enjoy it way more.

Justin is amazing. He seems to be able to play any kind of stringed instrument. Another thing I have learned from this video is that having a magnetic pickup frees one from the constraints of acoustics and acoustic instruments. You can almost strap it to a bent broomstick with one or more tunable strings attached and get a pretty good guitar. Then all you need is talent.
