Just bought today, first flight was a night flight.

He is so very knowledgeable in his introduction to this first flight of his drone, very informative, which really make me interested in buying one.

Love seeing that rush of a first time flight. Its addicting, and soooooo much fun.

Thought I'd pass this on. I learned a lesson on what happens if the "critical battery" alarm goes off. I was landing my drone and had hovered near a large tree, but not where my home point was. The critical battery went off, as the drone knows how much battery it needs to return. As I was landing, it shot straight up 150 feet, which was the altitude setting to return home. Then it hovered over to the home point location and descended. It did exactly what it was set to do. Next time I had my game face on and consciously was aware of it. It did happened again, but I knew about, expected it, and immediately cancelled the return home to override the landing to another spot. Great video.....Happy droning.

Flew mine today for the first time in windy conditions. My Mini did well. I was very cautious as a first time drone flyer.

What an awesome first flight! I just got my mini but I haven't flown it yet. I bought a Tello to get used to flying drones and will jump into the mini in a few days. Very good for the first flight! I now have the mini, plus the Mavic Pro, I’m still learning, bought the Mini so I did not have to register! So now I’m learning to fly the mini and the pro is on hold until I change my mind over the registration and the cost to allow me to fly the Pro!

Welcome to the DJI community!! A little tip for new drone operating... Watch as many videos that you can, not just about the Mini but all DJI drones. I've been flying for going on 2 yrs now, started with a spark and now have the Mavic Air. Good luck learning and exploring!! Not bad for first flight. You can set your sticks and gimbal to be a little bit smoother. All things you will learn as you go.
