this is so interesting to me, i never knew there was a European market in America ,with Balkan products in it. it's so nice to see that. i am from Serbia (we are 'neighbors' to Croatia) and i laughed at while watching this, because of the Croenglish your uncle was speaking. this is such a nice video, i hope you film more videos simular to this.

there is no balkan products in that market, only Croatian except burek, which is turkish ( anatolian )

There are a lot of these markets in the USA, especially where you have immigrants, which is a lot of places, and they typically have products from the Middle East and South Eastern Europe together, sometimes Hispanic foods as well. Seldom would you find a Croatian products only market, I'd say it's unheard of.

say hello to uncle from Croatia......its nice to know that wherever you go somebody speaks croatian.......i saw even rahatluk,or rahat lokum in that store.....it is a turkish candy and you should try it with coffie.......but first you need to buy that pot for it,the red one,it is called dzezva.ask your uncle to pronounce it for you

When he ran in the store all around he was like a kid back in the country . And i felt that . My mind would be blown to drive and see a euro store and the guy there even speaks the language id probably cry. And just curse in balkan for 1 straight hour . Every second word eould probably be a curse word xD

In US it is mostly Balkan stores under name Euro stores, as you saw you have ex-yu products, probably also from whole Europe (i saw Milka and some German stuff) some big brands

So difficult choice- waffle or waffle(both napolitanke). Whenever I stumble upon a Croatian products I just loose myself,want to buy everything.Reading croat words written on packages-priceless. Feels like home.U should write down what your uncle speaks to you in croatian,it is incredibly wise stuff. Surely he was one tough mother....... in his younger days.

awwhh man flashbacks are real! i remember when i was a little kid going to a hrvati market and seeing all the candies and pastries. id always make sure my family would get cevapi, cheese strudel, and walnut rolls. but when my baba Janja was alive she could make all of it from scratch nobody could cook like her lmaoo

Došao ja u Dublin po prvi put u životu, i odmah s aerodroma odo burgerking pojest nesto. Ulazim, kazem " 2 cheeburgers please" . Kaže ovaj na blagajni "yes, no problem" okrene se iza i vikne "Marko daj dva čizburgera". A ja ono, bgti dzaba sam se odselio
