You seem to me to be an exceptional film maker!

But what about if you’re caught in a slump? A trap of not understanding your purpose and being constantly critical about your ‘lazy’ tendencies. I feel conflicted about letting nature take its course and trying, making something of myself. A lot of good things that have occurred in my life happened through natural circumstances, maybe the process of grief or the new found freedom of exploration and expression. But the cycle of doing nothing doesn’t fulfill me. I feel scared that I’ll become stagnant, demotivated and remain leeching off of my parents and my comfortable life status. I have a head full of ideas, places to turn, things to do and things to see, but actualising them seems far fetched and distant. Maybe I’m scared that if I actually achieve my goals, will I be happy? I know things will be okay, and deep down I feel it. The past has shown me that even through times of fog and confusion, there is light that shines eventually. Things happen for a purpose and waves come and go. But I’ve been caught in the slump for a while and I’m finding it hard to break free. I think all it takes is self love. Instead of the constant chatter of criticism either stemming from your ego, parents or ambitions. Remove your idea of ‘self’ and love whatever you have that makes you whole. To anyone else in the same place I wish you well, talk to your family and friends if you’re lucky to be surrounded by them. 💟 things will be okay…
