A must-have. I have the DX on pre-order. This might be the last time we get Jack Sparrow. Hot Toys needs to add the rum bottle. A pirates without rum is incomplete.

I would be happy with the regular version, the sculpted hair looks very good, and if I get this, the hat will be on his head so the plastic bandana becomes irrelevant, and I can't tell if there are significant changes in his costume from film to film, so this looks like a very good representation of Jack Sparrow, many thanks to Ryan for getting some great photos!

I'd regretted selling my DX15 til this came out, ordered the Deluxe, great to hear of the face upgrades and such.

Hell ya this is the best announcement so far for me this year! I’ve been hoping they’d make a new jack because I haven’t gotten any of the other ones and this is the best they’ve done with the best of both bases and upgraded headsculpt and materials! I’m so glad I waited for this one and didn’t buy the older ones.

Missed out on the previous Hot Toys Captain Jack Sparrow figure, so I jumped on this one immediately!!

This might be my first hot toys figure. Pirates of the Caribbean is one of my favorite movie franchises ever and Jack Sparrow is more than worthy of being my first 1/6 scale figure. I'll probably just go for the standard release unless something included with the deluxe sways me.

Justin, you MUST get the Artisan Version! The wool hair and fabric bandana adds realism and depth in ways people can not imagine. Trust Me, folks spend a fortune for rooted wool hair. This is your chance to own the PERFECT Jack Sparrow! 👍 Oh, and the new Intro is ✨ AMAZING💫. ☺️

Got the Deluxe preordered, Artisan just out of my league, and i love how it came out the deluxe one, a great figure for a great character!

It would be cool if the final Jack figure was based on his appearance in the ride. Him in the chair at the end or a barrel or something. Its a bit of a timeless look, not tied to any one movie. We have seen Disney Parks figures like the Avengers Campus Spider-Man, so it would be cool to see more. Either way, I'm picking this one up!

This is a true masterpiece 😊😊 not a huge fan of Jack Sparrow PotC but the wool-haired version is so lifelike, it somehow transmits the smell of rum 😅😅

I've only got the World's End Jack along with Will Turner and Elizabeth. I haven't felt the need to search out any of the deluxe versions. It does look like they did a nice job with this verison.

I honestly think that the sculpted dreadlocks with sculpted bandanna one is the one I’m going with in my opinion. It looks much better.

Little sad its from Dead men tell no tales (or Salazars Revenge for us in Europe) but Jacks outfits are pretty similar in all 5 films so i can live with that. Plus i really like that Black Pearl in bottle accessory

Wouldn't a big advantage of the artisan be head articulation? I'd imagine those plastic dreads would hinder the articulation quite a bit.

I got the double deluxe. As i see it if its really necessary to have artisan that really pops more than 20% in visual view then i guess its a necessary effect then thats the only time ill be getting it.

I missed the original versions, I think I had just started collecting things when they were out and didn't really have the wallet size for Hot Toys, so I'm massively interested in this one, and like you I'm thinking the Deluxe version is the one to go for. I just can't justify paying so much more for a bit of fabric.

I tried getting the artisan but I didn’t make it I was at work I tried on my phone but I didn’t make it luckily, the DX deluxe was available so I went with that one like you mentioned It was worth it because the price of course is lower, cloth bandanna is cool but sculpted one looks ok as well. All and all I got my first Captain Jack Sparrow and am fine with that cuz it has two facials expressions and that’s what makes me happy to have. Also I hope they make Captain Barbossa cuz in this movie his wooden leg has jewels in it and rooted hair would definitely look awesome on this figure, I would definitely be on my computer with high speed internet to grab one. He’s actually my favorite character in the series.

Why is the rum always gone?????

Why can't we get a Superman Returns 2.0? The original looks like a Ken Doll at this point. They've made and remade every Batman, Ironman, and Spider-Man under the sun. So why not Superman, who has the easiest costume to make? We're even getting a Batman 85th anniversary figure this year, but nothing for Superman's 85th or the WB 100th last year.
