i remember when i heard this song years ago. i loved trolls at one point, i had toys, pillows, cups, and stickers of poppy, branch and other characters. although i don’t care for trolls anymore, this song is beautiful to listen to every once a while. it’s especially helpful when i’m sad or stressed with life. i will always love this nostalgic cover. :)

Justin Timberlake’s vocal range is incredible! He’s able to sound perky and energetic when singing Can’t Stop the Feeling, but is able to sound calm and gentle when singing True Colors to the point where I can barely recognise his voice! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 As for Anna Kendrick, I have to admit that she’s much better in this soundtrack version than in the film version. In the film, it sounded like she was phoning it in, but she sounds much more relaxed and soothing here. Even I can’t deny how beautiful her voice is! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

I've never even seen the movie, but I heard this version of the song one night while flipping radio stations a while back, and it brought me to tears; just as it's doing now.

My freshman year of high school, I became a victim of child pornography and the culprit never came to light. I became depressed and suicidal, and thought of suicide numerous times. This song reminds me not only of those dark times, but also the hope I received from listening to it. It inspired me to keep fighting and never give up, no matter how bleak things seemed. To whoever is reading this, there are always people out there who will support you and love you no matter what. You are amazing in your own way, no matter what anyone else says.
