The reason Piroe isn’t good at Pressing is because he’s slow AF over the first 5 yards. James Aaronson Summerville are good at pressing because they’re rapid. Saying Piroe get better at pressing sounds simple, he’s not getting faster over 5 -10 yards.

BA got off to a rough start last season, but by the end he was a fan fave. Helped Union survive. Pretty sure they wanted him back, all things being equal. But don't know if they could afford full salary not in ucl, he's more ready for C'Ship physicality playing tougher now, & Farke would have been impressed w/ his late BL performance as a German.

Don’t understand why you think there’s such a need to sell? If the reported stake for this year from RB is £60m it will only require Gnonto’s transfer where there’s definite noises of him leaving and we should have @£90m to go towards transfer instalments and also satisfy P&S. I think the deal with RB, an EFL record, was legitimatising getting capital funds into the accounts. I fully expect Gnonto to go and probably Summerville but nor would it totally surprise me if the latter stays if his valuation set by the 49ers isn’t met.

I think you both make valid point's there's no doubt he has ability and the good thing he will get a full pre season under Farke and hopefully show him what he can do but he does have alot to prove to all us fan's by giving his all on the pitch! Don't know why anyone expects him to be a decent attacking midfielder. He's not a 10. He played as an eight most of the time in MLS, a linkup player. He's never been a prolific creator, just good at holding onto the ball in leagues (Austria, USA) where refs whistle almost any contact. He was quite good at Berlin at the end of the season, though, and I can believe based on that that they changed their position on bringing him back.

Ger, yes you love leeds, but in reality, next to no Leeds player actually does, bar the odd one or two players. You're in dreamland if you think that most of the players who stayed, wouldn't have done exactly the same as Brendan did if given the chance. You think the lads who stayed are 'good guys' but they're no better than the ones who left really, they're merely the players that didn't get the opportunity to leave. 99% of them would've done exactly the same thing, if they were good enough to play for a CL team. So it's less about personality, and more about opportunity. These players that leave are seen as 'dickheads' and the players that stay are 'good guys'. In reality the 'dickheads' are in general, just the better players who get these opportunites. If the 'good guys' were as good as the 'dickheads' then they'd go too. Should we then hate most players then, if most players in our team would leave for a top 5 league if they were good enough/had the contract clause to do so? Or should we put our realism hats on, get out of our Leeds bubble and acknowledge that any player in their right mind would go play in a top 5 league for a CL team, rather than sweat it out in the Champ for a year. Acknowledging this and giving these players a bit of leeway, doesn't make anyone 'love leeds' more or less. Like Joe said, there's no 'explanation' needed from them. It's obvious why they left, it's common sense for them to do so. It's just football these days. It's just a job for them, and like anyone in a job, you'd leave if offered better prospects and more money. What we need to see instead of an 'explanation' is hard work and 100% effort on the pitch next season. If we get that, then the rest takes care of itself.
