In the lab labing Labrynth... missed opportunity

I've been seeing End of Anubis recently too. Even going so far as using mannequin cat to get it on the field. We're digging real deep to answer the Tear 0 meta lol

one interesting floodgate you could consider is different dimension ground. Since it's a searchable trap like eradicator it really shuts down some decks for a turn similar to dimensional barrier. Interesting option if even as a 1 of in the side deck.

Cool video style, even if this isn't a deck you are playing it really helps you learn about the under the hood aspects of the strategy

I like using Lord of the Heavenly Prison, because it not only protects backrow from most forms of removal, it's also a dark monster with high stats which triggers Eradicator Epidemic Virus and you can use Barrage to copy the effect to hit both spells and traps.

That labrynth Labyrinth ratio copy got me there. Haha

An interesting tech my friend has been using is invader of darkness for the runic and sky striker match ups

it's not the best for board breaking per se, but you could send Paleozoic Cambroraster as your Ultimate Slayer target for links to protect your backrow from getting popped. More people are probably on Cosmic rn, but it's still all in all a useful effect for a trap deck. Ferrijit is another good one, although her effect is also not a board breaker. All else fails just stick a big chungus link in there in case it comes up or for a dogmatika target.

A better floodgate to consider would be summon limit. I been finding more success with it than d barrier and rivalry since it just stops them completely instead giving them wiggle room for a different line of play

For me, I've been using 2x vivid tails and it puts in a lot of work for me, having more control to trigger the labrynth monsters and welcome labrynths help a lot. It also to re-use arianna most case scenarios. For evenly matched in g2 or g3, I use welcome labyrnth + lady to then ss arianna and pull mind crush from deck and use arianna to grab cooclock, then I just use the mind crush to call evenly matched, or if I have no cards in hand, I just grab eev from deck instead and call traps. I still use 3 solemn judgments in sidedeck. Also I deal with ishizu tears by prioritizing different dimension ground over d-barrier, it's been a lot better. So I grab it from deck using lady then use cooclock so that I can use it that turn. For floodgates, I prefer Summon Limit over gozen match and rivalry, because I usually only summon twice per turn anyway. I tech I see no one ever use is bubble crash going 2nd. Since the tearlaments won't trigger because it affects the player not the cards themselves.

I think if you look at IDP similar to Terror of the Overroot as Graveyard interruption rather than Field Interruption, it is still a really good card. You can force your opponent to use Keldo or Mudora to shuffle back their own Tears activating to prevent your from banishing things. Also, I really believe the Bystials should be somewhere in the list in the current Format.

I love the lab archetype type , the moment they were revealed i was interested , i hope i can get my hands on the entire deck before we lose anything , because if i know konami they love to hit random cards

What about dinomischus could be used with backjack to help get it out of your hand as well as the banish in general

One thing I find this deck doesn’t have space for are some really good/generic spells. So I actually side in a grave robber lol. For 2000 lp I get a tactics talent, a called by, a monster reborn, OR I just steal a recycling piece

I played against a friend of mine who mains branded. I played D barrier and used lovely to reset it every turn. Good times.

Glitch or fiend griefing with Field Spell = cheat out any fiend from the Deck lol its kinda busted XD I run Soul Scissors and its kinda nutz use either mainly fiend griefing easier to resolve, mill Soul Scissors, effect of Field Spell, summon Scissors, EFF of scissors pop 1 monster can keep doing this and if and when they remove field spell scissors has the ability to revive itself if any body destroys a monster battle or effect on either field which triggers its pop effect meaning damage step pop.

what about lord of the heavenly prison? its good for protecting your backrow in some way and in a bad scenario you can use it to set a welcome labrynth in case you couldnt have acess to it because you bricked in only normal traps and no labrynths

The problem with Fiend Griefing and to some extent Glitch is that they don't do what they used to against Tearlaments. Sure, it's neat to send The End of Anubis and force out their GY shuffle/banish effects that way, but that is all you will do. If your opponent can help it, then The End of Anubis will NEVER hit the board. Unironically Spright is the best home for that card right now as they can just abuse Mannequin Cat to get Anubis straight from the deck, bypassing all grave disruption. But it is still worth playing just to have more ways to screw up the timing of said shuffle/banish effects, making them overall a bit more predictable.
