Well, this is the second GMT Master 2 I've reviewed, and as much as I like the watch, in theory, the practice is a little different. I say again, this is not a fake watch, so the other conclusion is that Rolex is slipping. They are all hype these days and the watch you receive after handing over that vast sum of money does fully justify the price tag. But you all knew that, right? Cheers, Jody

So +5 seconds per day, the rotor is a bit noisy, no AR coating, the bezel has a bit of play and doesn't line up? Maybe the Chinese NH35 homages are actually more accurate than we expected.

No. I like Rolex watches, but I feel they are way overpriced, and there are better options, like Omega

No! That's why I went to the Omega Boutique and got first-class treatment, bought an Aqua Terra at a 15% discount I might add. Brought home a gold zero gravity pen, a leather box bottle of champagne the leather watch holders/ sunglass holders and oh yeah, the Omega Box is a hell of a lot nicer than Rolex.

Materially speaking, not a single Rolex model are worth their price. But I don't think people buy Rolex or any luxury items purely for their material aesthetics only.

Great video. And that GMT is one of the nicest looking modern Rolexes. Good work pointing out the flaws. rolex are too often put on a pedestal because of their brand power, people assume they are high quality or well finished. That clearly isn't the case.

Rolex is more than the specs and what is printed on the DIAL.... While I personally am NOT a fan of the new ceramic models and im not here to defend the watch in the video, i would like to say something about the brand that i love. I think the 4 and 5 digit reference of Rolex are some of the best-designed tool & sports models EVER made. 14060 or 16610 and 16750 or 16700 and the older 1680/5512 or 1675. The watches of the past is what has made the brand what is it today! But today the world is different, and the prices of Rolex is obviously a result of supply and demand. When you can buy a watch and instantly flip it for much much more.. then a lot of people who never wanted to wear the watch suddenly want it. Rolex is not a watch anymore.. its CURRENCY.. sadly. But If all you can do it bash Rolex on the watch quality and specs vs the price you are completely missing the point. I know this is the wrong channel to make this point. As everyone here seems to hate on Rolex. OR maybe just MODERN Rolex.. which I CAN support...

I’m fortunate enough to have inherited a Coke. Too bad they aren’t obtainable for what they were back in 2003 or so. It’s for this reason that I’m not a real fan of Rolex anymore. Tudor’s Black Bay 58 is the exciting answer for this issue

I've seen other videos describing the awful customer service from Rolex and for my money why should I buy a Rolex anything as opposed the a Grand Seiko Snowflake? I think I would go for the precision and quality of the spring drive. Jmo
