My dad also has multiple myeloma and is currently in "remission" but he has been on chemo since 2018 and will be until the day he passes. It has completely killed his immune system and has affected his brain in a major way causing dementia and changing his personality. It breaks my heart because it won't get any better. Have two legal questions... please don't answer if u r just giving personal opinion of law... hoping a law student or lawyer reads this... First... by the judge making the statement in this preliminary ruling about the action being illegal... isnt that sort of making a judgement about the main case when Ariana has not yet had her day in court and evidence hasn't even been presented yet? If so, couldn't Ariana's lawyers try to get new judge? And second question is whether there is some way for Ariana to sue Rachel for continued infliction of emotional and mental distress? Or is everything under free speech?

Sorry about your dad. My brother Ian had multiple myeloma for 9 years. He was 50 years old when he got his diagnosis. Hang in there..... maybe they will come up with a cure. Agree big diff between purpose of law and how it is being used now. That's why legal system evolves and laws get changed. If Ariana loses bc the court finds it IS technically distribution despite no intent to expose it to the public... then the law needs to change. If she had blasted it our there it would have been wrong. But she did not do that... Under the circumstances, as a woman who found out she was not only betrayed by her partner but also betrayed by a woman she opened her home and heart to and considered a close friend... she demonstrated incredible restraint in ONLY sending it to Rachel. If Ariana sending it to Rachel is determined to be illegal... that does NOT mean it was unethical. What Rachel is doing IS unethical. It is truly heartless that she WON'T STOP TORMENTING the woman who was her friend. At best it is heartless and greedy, at worst it is psychopathic.
