On March 8th, "Women's Day 2020" JustPlanes accompanied the Ethiopian Airlines crew operating the Boeing 777-200LR ET-ANO from Addis Ababa Ethiopia to Washington Dulles International Airport with a stopover in Dublin. On this video you follow the approach and landing of ET500 at Washington welcomed by a water salute as it pulls into the gate.

I remember living by Washington Dulles. I lived in the approach path of 19R and 19C. Planes passed over at 1100 ft. Ethiopian Airlines 787-9, 777-200LR and 777-300er would come in between 8 am and 10 am in the morning just about every day. Was so cool :)

I don't care what gender, color or race you are... You have a dream, the tenacity and hard work to achieve it then you are rewarded. In this case the dream was to achieve the level of training/responsibility to be a commercial jet pilot. You make the grade... you get the job. It's all about merit. Nothing else should matter.

We flew Ethiopian airlines from Dublin to also Angeles 3 yrs ago and I have to say they were fantastic. The food was the only part of the journey which kinda fell short of expectation but overall great experience

It's not "the smoother the landing, the better the landing". Too smooth landings are actually undesireable in adverse weather conditions like gusty winds and poor braking action conditions due to water, ice etc. on the runway.

Great piloting ladies and Happy Woman's Day! Keep up the great work and try to pass your skills or encourage other women to become pilots. After seeing these videos of women piloting large airships, I proudly say that my little niece now wants to be pilot, something she never thought of before seeing Just planes videos of women commanding and piloting a large aircraft.

This is inspiring to women and girls. That inspiration can occur at a very young age, too. I took my granddaughter to a local airport open house when she was just a toddler. A B-17 landed and approached where we stood. She had two reactions: 1. "It has 4 fans!" 2. "Look, a girl is driving it!"

Beautiful plane that sounds amazing, I love the 777's and these pilots did an amazing job. The landscape and the skies are beautiful, and the landing was amazing and smooth. As for camera views, I love the cockpit view and I also love the cockpit's window view. I respect and honor all these pilots and their crew. I think it's great to have female pilots and these ladies in the cockpit have shown that they can handle it. They're following their dreams and loving it; if they can do it, so can we. To celebrate and honor females and female pilots, I thought the water salute was amazing. Awesome video, I love it.
