Try the Cessna 172 next time. You might have better luck. I mostly taught myself to fly using that aircraft. When I first got in behind the controls of a real aircraft, the only thing I really had to learn was to be gentle with the controls. And the other thing though they can get people is fear. I’ve never suffered from that, people do. It’s fair that gets you killed.

@@justaweeb9086 well, that’s the thing. Actually flying is simple enough. Most of your flying lessons involve learning not to panic and learning procedures. Flying in and of itself is actually quite simple. Although I don’t think you can learn in five minutes, and I appreciated the jokes. I reckon you could probably just about teach someone how to fly maybe in an hour. If the winds were completely calm and they were in an airport with no tower.
@griffster17
@griffster17 11 ай бұрын
@@justaweeb9086 I taught myself how to fly on Microsoft flight simulator X. And when I moved to real flying, it was very easy to transition. As a blind pilot, I always had somebody sitting next to me. For that person, very rarely had to touch the controls on my first flight. And after that, they just put their feet up, and tell me which way to go, and I flew.

You'd think a red flag would have gone up or a light bulb go on.🙄 Sadly, a true story. Now watch and listen as some of these thousands of military-aged Afghan "refugees" we just took in on our soil want to learn how to fly but not to takeoff or land.🙄 This HAS to rate as one of the dumbest things we have EVER done!

And do you have any actual proof any of these people are planning to fly planes into buildings? I didn't think so. You are conjecturing. I don't imagine Brian or most of the other folks watching this channel care about your (or my) political opinions. But now that you mention it, we will have zero support from any potential future ally if we don't do what we said we would do and help these people. That's what Americans do, right? I respect guys like this, theres a ton of people who arnt fortunate enough, to be able to fly a plane, because they cant take classes, cause of money, or some have family members, or friends who own planes and can teach them, or in some cases classes are too hard to follow cause people have learning disabilities, and the way some classes are taught makes people anxious and overwhelmed, this guy makes it possible for people who may not necessarily care if they ever fly plane, or get to fly a plane, but just want to just be able to say they know how to fly a plane, they can fly a plane anytime they want if and when they wanted to without all the protocal bull and the fortunate luxury others have that they dont, guys like this come out, and give those less fortunate the ability to feel like a winner, and learn something, and be able to say i learned, know how to, and can do this thanks to this man for being cool, and showing, and teaching this.

the clocks says just how you you've been flying, how long your flight will be, when you will crash, and when help will arrive, and that is all, easy, now you will pass your instrument rating, good luck. LOL

Some aviators and some linguists report that around the year 1911 the slang word "taxi" was in use for an "airplane". They suggest that the way aircraft move under power before they take off or after they land reminded someone of the way taxicabs slowly drove around the block when looking for passengers (google). Bravo! Clear instructions and no-repeats....

When you are rockin out with the tunes on your headset, listening to Little John / Cher (on days they are working the tower), if the autotune needs adjusting, move the blue knob to adjust the pitch.
