A free update I think we could realistically get: Fighting animations for Hadrosaurs and Sauropods. Hadrosaurs could kick small predators and tail whip medium and large predators. Sauropods could tail whip medium and large predators, and stomp on all predators.

The River Cruise is my top pick from this, it would need it's own gates as well so we can have one boat go through various habitats. I would eagerly watch a 2024 DLC wish list as well. I'm not fussed about the missing hybrids, I rarely used them in the first game. Genetic engineering is a pathway to many hybrids that some consider- unnatural.

I agree on what you suggest here. I also wish that Sauropods have the ability to properly fight back. Even kill the ones that attack them. I have a feeling that this year may be the last year for JWE2 content. So let's hope Frontier gives us really good stuff before they stop making content for JWE2.

I think a Path system overhaul will be greatly appreciated. A great start would be any of the following: Make fences and gates on paths a real feature. Tunnels, (just turn the viewing vents into a new path system) Underwater tunnels for lagoons Roads, where guests wont walk on them and will be used by vehicles

My suggestions: Customizable Jurassic Park dinosaur signs. You can pick the dino icons, & edit the text. Also, being able to change the skins & patterns... on the Jurassic Park Ford Explorers. It would be cool to have the cars be different colors in different parks. As much as I LOVE LOVE LOVE the original, its tropical color pattern does stick out a lot in other biomes.

We also need skins and patterns for the Legacy Ankylosaurus. And some slight edits to some patterns, like the 2022 Allosaurus, and add some splashes of color on their lacrimal crests. Also, it would be interesting to see some alternate skins and patterns for the JP and TLW raptors too, and maybe give them skins and patterns that would be nods to McCreery’s other concept paintings or nods to what Kenner came up with for their Jurassic raptor figures! I’d still love to see some placeable water features added, like small and large waterfalls. And I’d love it if we got more skeletal decorations as both mounted skeletons and “carcasses” we could place say in carnivore enclosures.

One of my big things I would love too see is more enclosure decor. Things like nests, hay piles, a tire for them to play with, a canopy, and other stuff

A well rounded and realistic wish list I think Evo! For me the two glaringly obvious things now are: A KELP BRUSH / DECORATION GUESTS ACTUALLY SITTING ON ALL THE NEW LOVELY BENCHES / A GUEST SAT AT BENCH DECORATION As great as the last update was, it really highlighted like a sore thumb how badly we need these two and how wrong lagoons and parks look without them. The other realistic yet vital additions for me are: Microceratus Megalodon (don’t hate me) 😂 Jungle river and Cretaceous cruise 1 more lagoon attraction 1/2 more land attraction eg waterpark / gondolas Low decorative fences Realistic Jurassic World signs Lamposts, balloons, ATMS, food stalls, vending machines Just a handful of more interesting building decorations / signs Canonical decorations and trees / foliage from the actual films The big tree from the first game Maybe individually placeable paleo plants Walking animations for quetzalcoatlus and pteranodon Pig and cow feeders Other than that the games pretty spot on and nearing actually achieving the perfect Jurassic World park builder game. Which is an amazing achievement. And if they can improve optimisation a tad that would be useful. Although I do disagree with all buildings for older consoles. I just get the impression it’s just not possible and older consoles have probably held this game back slightly. People have had plenty of time now to update to next gen, they’ve been out for over 3 years! While I get moneys sadly tight for a lot of people, after 3+ years it’s time to stop expecting last gen to get the same treatment for everything. One final thing I would request from Frontier before they finish with the game is… PLEASE just tell us when it’s finished lol and not remain silent and PLEASE PLEASE allow mods and hopefully this can also include mods for consoles too as I feel so left out not having them 😢😢

I would love kelp, underwater caves and large rock/coral pieces. I would also love vending machines, food carts, signs/flags, waterfalls, and potentially a mountain we can place that the tour can go through.

I really would love to get a Protoceratops still, among other dinos. It's so iconic with the raptor, and would make for some great themed exhibits!

Another thing, they should make it so you can turn off guest food/drink/shopping needs. In my local zoo, there are only 3 restaurants and 2 gift shops. If I did the same in one of my parks people would probably be dropping dead from a lack of plushies lol

I would love to see some minor ai tweaks. Mostly with the territory system. Like say if a rex walks into a mid tier carnivores territory. The mid tiers would avoid the rex instead of constantly trying to fight God for a cornchip

I had an idea that I would like on screen in the game, we could build MODELABLE concrete pools, but these pools would be placed in enclosures so swimming dinosaurs (bari, spino...) could swim, drink and fish and even flying ones could interact with dives or just scraping the water in search of fish, and with the terraforming I could camouflage the pool a little, I also wanted some species to receive variants, such as the troodon and strutiomimos and tropeugnatos to receive feathers

Personally I think we need to be able to stack aviary's and lagoons for deeper and taller enclosures. ALSO SHORT FENCES

It likely won't happen, but I would love to see some of the "dinosaurs" from Crichton's novels added. The only problems would be the fact that we don't really have official models for them outside of fanart, and creatures like dilophosaurus would have to be completely re-rigged. Maybe they could have their own era? Sucks for past-gen because both the dinosaurs and buildings would be an era like malta or biosyn, or maybe they could come with the JP era. Sorry for the long comment, but just a thought! (and sorry for adding onto the piles of comments asking for novel dinosaurs)

I need a Cow Feeder with pack hunting mechanics, like two Raptors jumping on top of a cow. Animations for other carnivores could be salvaged from hunting some smaller herbivores.

As someone who just likes to watch dinos roam about: Add tree/foliage collision effects - I see they are implemented on grass but it would be nice if it was also implemented on trees. Especially when herbivores are feeding. Basically trees bending away when a dino is in contact with them or bending toward one when they are being eaten. Hanging(?) Meat Feeder - Like the one in the I.Rex paddock, basically a meat feeder for only medium-large carnivores and probably for small carnivores that can jump high enough. Breathing/Breaching animations for lagoon creatures (except the Dunk ofc) - It's nice that they come up to the surface once in a while but I'd like to see some jumping out of the water or intentional heads popping out of the water to breathe.

Ever since I watched Sean’s Rise of Isla Nublar video, it made me realize how much I’d want just more JP style buildings and attractions. Also, random island generators, where you can have an entire island to build your parks or even Site B. I think those would really help people fully flesh out their own JP builds. I do like the square maps, but even they don’t feel big enough for me. I had a whole tour go around and I feel like I could’ve fit more dinosaurs and more enclosures, but the map simply isn’t big enough for me to accomplish that. So I mainly want bigger entire island maps and more/all JP style attractions like the river cruise and the safari lodge and etc. That would be a great way to send off the game for me.

There are already plenty of dinosaurs in Evo 2, but there are still a couple I really want. Namely Plateosaurus and Mononykus. They rarely get representation in media, and there's nothing like them in the game, so adding them would be a dream come true for me.

As well as the old hybrids I would love to have the old maps brought over from JWE1

1. Microceratus. It’s gonna be almost 2 years since Dominion and we still don’t have all the canon animals. WTH. 2. JWE1 Hybrids. They can bring em back and make em better than ever. A 2015 Stegoceratops based on the cut design/ computer screen would be amazing. They could take the opportunity to add Spinoceratops and a lagoon and aviary hybrid as well. 3. Flying Animal social animations. Lagoon creatures got them, why not the flying ones? 4. Low fences, decorative or functional. 5. If we do get a River Cruise, I do think Bridges would be needed, even as path crossings, but an elevated path system would be interesting. Imagine having it have covering for going through aviaries, or be at eye level with Brachiosaurs. Like not to be too in depth, but a few set heights to get the point across. Maybe kinda like ziplines where you pick starting points, ending points, and connection points.

River cruise, Spinoraptor, a crocodile, Kelp, a couple more pterosaurs, maybe walking pterosaurs ways to place decorations in a line, Microceratus . = eternal happiness. Of course I’d like more but I don’t want to ask for too much since we are probably only getting one or two new updates.

I totally agree with the herbivore feeders and the greenhouse. I love the greenhouse in JWE1

For me the lagoons and to a lesser degree aviaries are the weakest parts of the game even after updates. I agree that kelp forests or at least some manner of foliage, whether that's by terrain tools similar to terrestrial exhibits or just static 1X1 emplacements if that's not possible. I think both the lagoon and aviary both need more species though at this point I don't really expect it. For the aviary specifically, in addition to pterosaurs being given walking animations (quetz needs this most of all, I basically never use it in my builds because of this and the fact that the aviaries are too small for it not to look silly when in flight) I think pterosaur feeding needs should be reworked. All of them eat from the fish feeder (save Jehelopterus which remains the only species in the game which feeds from the bug feeder) which makes sense for the majority of the pterosaur species but not all. Some more of the smaller ones should use the bug feeder (ideally they would add more small, bug-eating pterosaurs) some should want meat and maybe a couple of the bigger, more vicious species should want goats. While we're at it, make it so some of the smaller theropod dinosaurs, I'm thinking the likes of compies, moros, sinosauropteryx etc. should also be able to eat from the bug feeder as well as feeders and goats, and on species which can eat from more than one feeder you should get a comfort bonus if you're able to provide a varied diet.

I agree,i always thought it was weird we didnt have any kelp in game but we had it in the mosa scene.

What I really hope will come are the missing dinosaurs that are cannon. The following list of dinosaurs that are still missing are: Coelurus, Elaphrosaurus, Lesothosaurus, Peloroplites, Teratophoneus. And Microceratus!!!

OK hear me out. JP era = river cruise/balloon tours. JW era = kayak cruise/sky gondola (Camp Cretaceous) tours. The integration of all EV1 parks/island, with Isla Tacono featuring a usable natural lagoon. Yes to the Herbivore feeders, would make habitats easier to fulfill needs without sacrificing food for shelter. Absolutely yes to placeable vending machines/kiosks/benches that help alleviate red indications for food/drink/shopping/transport in already established parks that are tightly built (make placeable on paths). hand feeding attractions maybe? Mini petting zoo attraction (JW movie). Camp Cretaceous tree hotel, usable as hotel. short fences making it capable for sauropods to reach over and get "closer" to guests. Terrain tools for lagoons (foliage, sand/rock/colors?).

I think most of your mentions are on the nose. If they can't improve the terrain tools, then maybe just some nice-looking"'decoration" mountains/waterfalls with a hitbox (like the JP log), so the dino's aren't walking all over them, that can be placed in the enclosures, or just around our parks. And the River Boat ride is so a must!

I'd really appreciate if they'd make the Demon carnotaurus a Variant along with 1993 Triceratops and 2022 Parasaurolophus. Also, give us ballon tour pls

herbivore feeders were so useful to me. Since I use to make themepark type builds with rides and it was easier to set up an encounter or viewing spot with the feeders instead of a chance encounter or no encounter unless the exhibit is flooded with dinosaurs. but also please, please update the pyroraptors low pixel face... I never use it cause I cant stand looking at its face.

I agree, I would add to it make it so carnivorous only hunt/kill when hungry. I THINK you even mentioned this yourself in a previous video. I love the new addition to the hatchery to automatically maintain a population but I want to have a herd of gallies in the trex paddock so he can hunt them when hungry, not to go on a massive killing spree and just litter the gound with bodies.

I 100% agree with every point. Especially pterosaur walking animations, river tour and kelp. Those are my top three. I'd also add, though this is probably not likely, smaller sized meat feeders because it's silly that a trex and a compy use the same size feeder.....

I'd love to see a massive lagoon update. I agree with kelp decorations/brush. I'd also love to see the ability to place feeders in the lagoon instead of on the side. Maybe more feeder varients (shrimp, live shark, flying fish, etc.). I'd also like more plant decorations (algae, lilypads, seaweed, etc.)

I wish there was a grid system in the game with a 'Snap to Grid' feature so I could make my parks square. I know that today we have the option to use our creativity a lot more, but I love my square parks like in the old Jurassic Park Operation Genesis.

Biggest thing I want is the ability to use all texture and tree brushes across all the biomes.

1. Operation Genesis DLC, could have tons of new skins, and even some new or different style buildings. It would also introduce the water tour like you were talking about. 2. Secerts of Wu DLC pack would bring back the previous games hybrids, and also introduce an adult Spinocerotops. 3. And of course some new dinos like you have discussed in multiple videos, more scenery items for park/lagoon. Also feeders, attractions, and some skins for dinos from other jurassic games and even skins from jurassic park and world toys. 4. Prehistoric Reptiles pack could introduce Titanoboa, and a couple big crocs. And pretty much every else you have said. Heck just add it all!

To add onto the pterosaur walking animations, I would like it if the quetzalcoatlus had battle animations on the floor, such as attacking smaller dinos like cryolophosaurus, or even get pack hunted by raptors, which maybe they can be grabbed and thrown or smacked away by its massive wings.

Random one, but I'd very much like to be able to at least place Rocks over fences. Or at the very least decorations for fences. Sometimes just placing the same fences down all the time gets dull.

Finally someone addresses the issue of the absence of short fencing. It would make building exhibits for small dinos so much easier. Also a bamboo paint brush would be nice.

You mentioned a Cretaceous herbivore dlc in the past, and that's one I'd definitely like (mainly so people will stop asking about Microceratus). So going off that, here are some possible candidates I'd like for the dlc: Lurdusaurus Lambeosaurus Jakapil Stegouros Psittacosaurus Protoceratops Udanoceratops Thescelosaurus Simosuchus Saltasaurus Medusaceratops Diabloceratops

We really need billboards with the option to put a pre-set image of a dinosaur with thier name displaying at the top of the board or have the option to have a coulorful backround and the ability to wright on it with a limit of around 25 characters on each bilboard, but that might be a bit ambitious.

KELP me, Frontier! haha! You are spot on in what this game needs. Little changes like a better way to preview creature skins without leaving the current save, better surface lights, more skins/patterns for variants, and walking animations for flying reptiles and lagoon vegetation would greatly improve the experience and overall quality of the game.

Customisable signs for certain dinosaurs, a system where if you have certain dinosaurs in your park, they will appear on a tab on the sign 7. i think my idea for a cenozoic safari dlc could include the river cruise, i also think adding cenozoic animals could add some nice variety to the game in terms of aquatic, and aerial species. maybe it could also have wooden fences

In my opinion, JWE2 needs new unique species (like Cenozoic animals), short fences, new attractions (like the river cruise), new lagoon decorations and features, new aviary decorations and features, and more park decorations.

They should add a hybrid pack with the 3 from the first game but also the spinoceratops

A 2024 DLC wishlist video would be cool! I'm going to dream big and suggest that, due to the Chaos Theory releasing this year, JWE2 might have DLC support all throughout Chaos Theory's run. With the JWE games still being Frontier's biggest money maker, perhaps even with Universal taking their cut, I don't see any reason to slow down just yet unless a new live action film gets announced. I wouldn't be surprised if the DLC cycle slows down even more and is just Chaos Theory cosmetics (and maybe new species) though.

probably my own biggest hopes for a free update would be to adjust the "danger to guests" option so that just the pterosaurs are disabled from it while all the other carnivores/piscivores can still be dangerous--i'd love to be able to have free-roaming pterosaurs with no hazard to guests--and, for console players like me, some more ride diversity between build sets third in line is probably biome variation to the San Diego arena, which always looks so out-of-place in everything but desert and mediterranean

The game needs more attractions, these could include a lagoon tour a water park a roller coaster, go carts and Ferris wheel. Some decorations that are needed are more fountains, individually placeable Jeeps and a normal and a destroyed Ford Explorer and individually placeable trees that pterosaurs can land in. Customisable or fixed signs like the ones we have already for the mosasaurus and pteranodon as well as statues for each species. Some things that need to be changed is the smallest tree and water brushes being so big, taking so long to flatten terrain. I could go on rambling for ever but these are the things that needs to be added the most other than the things that you stated in you video. ps: keep doing amazing things evo you are a wonderful person❤

Having the option to have a barrier/fence already on the paths would be nice. Like what they do with planet zoo where you can choose to have fence barriers on/off and they are automatically there when building paths. You could either choose what style of barrier to use or each path has its own style.. better then placing a bit of fence down one at a time.

Some ideas to add to the ideas listed. Decorative vehicles. Adding some other JWE buildings like the amenities, the hotel, and the Greenhouse. The JWE aviary or atleast the return of the aviary rock structure. The return of the JWE maps. The return of the other peaceable trees. The return of the missing RTJP signs.

It would be awesome if you could make your own hybrids, as the last dlc. Then we would have so much freedom. Maybe you could change 4 or 5 core features to make youre own unique dinosaur.

the ability to move objects like the stone fence pieces from malta in a 360 complete spin would be great to allow for straighter fencer placement currently they only move like a arm on a clock in sections around not smoothly like the rocks do for instance. Kelp coral brushes so much better then individual ones. Water that u can make deep enough to put sea creatures in it

I really want Plateosaurus, Mononykus, Psittacosaurus, Rhamphorhynchus, and Protoceratops, mainly because there’s just nothing really like them in the game. Literally any fish to accompany the Dunkleosteus and some more synapsids to accompany the Dimetrodon and Lystrosaurus would be nice, too. And hopefully some pseudosuchians, at last.

Evo, what do you think about the forests hitboxes? I always find it very annoying since the first game. It's understandable forests on Temperate and Tropical biomes having hitboxes, but is it necessary on Taiga and Alpine too? Taiga and Alpine forests has more spaced trees, and for that, it's easier to see the animals in it, different from Temperate and Tropical forests, because of that, the hitboxes could be removed at least from Taiga and Alpine forests. The only map that has forests without hitboxes is the Biosyn Sanctuary, and for that, it is a really special map to me. I always wanted to watch my Dinosaurs up close inside the dense forest, but i was never able to do that because of these hitboxes. I just want more visibility.

Yes to all this. 1 Caveat the hybrids mentioned would not be too far a stretch to include in a DLC of 4, with the 4th hybrid being (canon) the spinoceratops from Camp Cretaceous.
