Love me some Jx servos. All my rcs have them. They are very affordable compared to savox and in my opinion are more durable. I don’t own a crawler to compare yet for all my bashers and street rcs they are the bees knees. For those interested there are multiple places to get them. I shopped with banggood and they seem to have a very large selection.

I have several $130+ servos including Reef's 555, Savox, Hitec, Protek 370TBL 650oz. I'm tired of paying that type of price knowing that they only pay about $10 to $15 to have them made. I also have a few budget servos, Power HD 23kg's , some Boom servos and two 46kg's. The 46's power the steering on my 35 pound BC8 Mammoth and it turns them with authority on carpet while sitting still. I'm taking the BC8 to the Pro-line By The Fire event(we go every year). If the 46's last the 4 hour trail run in a 35 pound rig....I will call them good... $50 bucks?!..not bad at all.

@@ExocagedRC Reef's just debuted a Triple-9(999). Talk to him at length(probably 40 minute yesterday morning)at the Pro-line event. We talk about marketing and engineering and the work that went into the 999. It's a completely new servo from the ground up....only thing it shares with the 444 and 555 is the bottom case. Top case is all new , plus additional CNC work to it to fit the bigger stronger gears and the much stronger motor. Many other features that make it more durable and completely waterproof(not water resistant). We talked about 3 companies that he's aware of that's "crapply" reverse engineered his 555 servo and selling them using his specs but can't do anything because they are out of china. We talked about 3Brothers RC. They had their T-shirts on and were walking around...I hate to say it(and unfortunately) but they were talking "smack" about other manufacturers. I like Tom's ACIS SIX 6-pole 906 but his direct-current servo and outrunner is technology took'n from Holmes-Hobbies. He needs to stick to his staggered motors which are really good.

@@tomlucasrccrawlers9108 From what I can see its a knockoff and rebranding world out there with these things. I will most likely end up with a new 999 to see if it can break my tester lol. That would be epic!! As far as competitors talking smack, that's just not professional IMO.

The traxxas xmaxx 2085x waterproof servo at 6v is 450 torque so if you bump it up to 7.4 it'll dramatically increase the torque to 590. Because the savox 1/5th scale high speed waterproof servo at 6v is 416 torque and at 7.4 the torque jumps up to 555. the 2085x is a big 1/5th scale servo with a huge amount of torque, it's not a little toy 1/10th scale servo

@@ExocagedRC JRH as quoted - "Since I had my v1 SHV 12v servo knocked off by JX (ex employee of my OEM that stole a lot of files), I was interested to see how much it was just a visual knockoff, and how much was 100% copy. One vendor is using JX for his "14v" servos, so I picked up one as well. It has a little higher torque output, which tells me they probably upped the PWM output a little. Hook them up to my programmer, not a surprise that they connect right up. Yep, just a little higher PWM. Not just a knockoff, a complete ripoff of my v1 housing, motor, gearset, and control board. "

Hey man so this servo is available with two leads and it says you can run it on 14v so my question is, if i am running two 3s packs in my truck and i hook this servos second lead to one of my 3s batteries powering my truck will it mess with my low voltage cut off or make the one battery drain allot faster? Should i run a seperate lipo? If you want to take a look at what i mean im copying and pasting the exact name from eBay if you type it into eBay search it will be what I'm talking about. I power them directly from the main battery plug into the esc. So 2S 3S or 4S is fine. If you connect it to one of the two batteries ( not sure why you need two batteries ) yeah it will drain that one battery a little bit more, but if they two batteries are wired in parallel it will be fine.

Price is expected to be $180 or so.

xXG.L.HXx yeah this servo has ratings that are too high for what it gives. I tested the 555 and it’s amazing. I hope to get a 999 before too long but my only wish on new servos is that they are compatible with straight 3S. It’s nice to not need a bec or a bypass.

@@ExocagedRC Either a JST going straight to the servo or a built in BEC would be great. I use a Castle BEC 2.0 and it works great but I'd love to eliminate the clutter on my TRX4. Looks like the Triple 9 will not have either but it will be tad cheaper than the current Futaba monster.
