Hey everyone!
This is it! It's soon the time to enter in a new generation of ponies! On September 24th, the G5 MLP movie will be released on Netflix and, to celebrate that... I decided to make a small instrumental track!
The idea I had while composing this music was the vibe of a new adventure, something joyful, energic... well, something quite happy! I know I always use bagpipes in my songs but this time it fits well, considering the studio who made the movie (Boulder Media) is located in Ireland! :D
In any case, I hope you'll like this short track and that you're hyped for the new generation!

After watching the movie, this song fits even more. G5 so far is of to a good start and this song still encapsulates that sense of adventure that we eventually got in the movie

Gonna comment as well: since I read the comic, I already know the scenario of the movie, meaning that the only thing I'm looking forward is the OST and songs. I'm not especially a fan of Pipp's song as, to me, it sounds like a generic pop song that will certainly be placed at the end of the movie. Regarding the plot and without spoiling anything... Welp, depending of what you're expecting of G5 to be like, you'll be either really pleased or extremely disappointed. I can't really say more than that but I'm pretty sure opinions about G5 will be really "2/10" or "8/10" In any way, I'm really looking forward to seeing the movie! Animation looks really great and the characters are cute, can't wait for the other songs to be revealed! :D

It wasn't as good as G4 but I still enjoyed, especially the songs (mostly "gonna be my day" and "fit right in") and Izzy You are right about Pip's song.

What a great way to get into a new generation! Personally I'm worried that it won't be nearly as good as Gen 4. I'm already not a fan of the story and art style, but I'll wait to give my final judgment once I see it.

If they play their cards right. They'll have the plot respect the fact that a larger portion of their fanbase is teenagers and adults. My fear is that they'll revert back to having the plot so simple its almost transparant... let alone having the chacters talk down to the audiance... But, i still cling to faith...

@@tekkitbeasting604 my clan is somthing to be feared on Voltz. We actually have a habbit of making bases so hard to destroy even the staff dont want to try. We actually got a staffmember fired because he teliported into our base, World edited in a 10x10 cube of antimatter explosives and killed our base that way... I usually go for subterainian bunker complexes that have 28m thick reinforced concrete walls. And just as an extra measure my friend is an evil genious when it comes to shield gerators. Onions anyone?

This track sounds positively miraculous and sensational Jyc i love it, the harmony of the bagpipe score is just lovely and divine as always you did a truly masterful job putting this masterpiece together, absolutely brilliant work on your first ever mlp G5 track and i can't wait to see whatever ones you make in the future!!! I am so hyped for G5, and this track has made me 100 time more hyped thank you so much for making me smile with you musical genius Jyc!!!

Honestly I think Pipp's song was a bop & it certainly made the "Pipp squeaks" smile. 😉 My hope for G5 is that it will receive the same care that G4 got and possibly get its own unique version of Equestria girls. So far i'd G5 is looking pretty good.

Something about this track reminds me of your early works with jolly Celtic leitmotifs. And it's great :) I don't have high expectations for the movie but we'll see what the show holds! I believe in the writing team. If they can write a good story about friendship, magic AND modern technology it'd make me happy :)

Ohh it sounds so amazing! Really fit for entering a new adventure which will be G5. I, to my own surprise, really like the 3D models. I usually prefer 2D but for the movie this really is looking great from what I could see! I'm mostly curious to hear/see the story. I wonder what happened with the magic and what they need to do to get it back. But going in with an open mind is the most important!

Every scene where the main characters go on an adventure in that first adventure montage can be summed with this song. Amazing job. As for G5, everything that i've seen so far, tells me this is going to be great and amazing. They seem to have all the charm of G4 and a solid story to tell, plus amazing visuals. I hope I am not disappointed, because it all points to this new generation being as amazing as the last.

Very nice and pleasant track. A good music of celtic and tavern music. About G5 I hope that it respect the spirit of G4 might by tales and wold not be " the ponies learned nothing and are doing the same mistakes again". That's some previews showed.

I really hope that G5 can actually somewhat bridge G4 and G5 while also can be a stand-alone movie/series. As for Pipp's song released a few days ago, it's a good music overall, just not my type of jam. Vocals feels a little off on some part but otherwise it's a good music and I can understand if some people actually find it good

Yess it's outtt! :D About G5, the 3d style is fine but it gives off a different vibe than G4. I personally think it lacks the magical feeling people were drawn into. The same thing happened to Barbie movies which is why people still like the old version better. The only thing that'd save it is probably the writing and story which is what I'm really looking forward to. This is my opinion for now.

Omg this is really good~! I'm very excited for G5 because I know I'm going to enjoy it. My expectations are just fun times and cute ponies just like S1 G4. I don't mind if we don't get any backstory on what happened to Ancient Equestria, I'll leave that to the show. The art style is pretty, the plot sounds intriguing. It's not gonna be a lightning in a bottle moment but it'll still be great

I thought that the new movie was fine, I wish we got to see more of Twilight, or luna, or Celestia, but on its own, it was better than I thought it would be. though through all the climax I felt that the ending was a little more childish than the first half of the movie felt. the graphics were a lot better than what some people I know thought it would be like. I know that some people were worried that it would be very cartoony (the not-good kind) but after watching it I actually liked it.

Hope the G5 is fun, engaging and consistent. In terms of animation, yes. And that there would be more adventures. It's also very interesting how many mentions of bronies Hasbro will add to the show. Not a necessary detail, but it would be certainly interesting and fun to see. :D As for the rest, I'm sure that the film, judging by the materials I've seen, will be at least very good. Or may even be Awesome™!)

I'm a little worried about it. The animation just looks like generic Disney. I'm worried they'll overdo the modernization and lose everything that gave the previous generation its charm. Already they are losing so much by using the kind of animation they chose. All those crazy expressions and animation stretches they used to great effect in g4 won't be able to be used for g5. And without that memorable and distinct art style, they will be missing out on a lot. A great story is good. But having all the animation and characters dripping with personality in addition to a great story can make the difference between something good and something truly special.
