Heya everyone!
First of all: no, there won't be an anime about IEO, obviously. However, I still wanted to make a song that'd be considered as an "anime opening" for it even though it'll be nothing more than a novel series (nothing more is planned at the moment)!
I thought it'd be fun, plus it's also to say that, in my mind, I see IEO as a manga/anime while working on it.
This opening would be for the first volume of the novel series, so you can more or less imagine the tone of it with that song! I was inspired by the first opening of Demon Slayer to compose this track and, as you might certainly recognized the leitmotiv, it also has been heavily inspired by "Together, Against the Sisters"!
Also, huge props and thanks to Wither for the outstanding artwork you can see in the video (which will also be available as a poster at Galacon this year)! I really love how it turned out, with all the main characters of the first volume there as well as the Primordial Pantheon in the background. Speaking of those characters, if you want to know more about them, check the lore document that is linked above or join the Infinite Eclipse discord server!
The song is named "Mamorisha", meaning "Protector" which is an important job in IEO, and there are many different kind of Protectors in Equestera!
Originally, this song was supposed to celebrate the release of the first volume of IEO but, unfortunately, things happened and the book is delayed (we're still trying to figure out when it'll be done). Though, I still wanted to share it and eventually make more people interested in this project!
Regarding the amazing singer I worked with on that track - I contractually cannot credit her, which is why she's featured as "X". Nonetheless, it was a real pleasure to work with her and she did an absolutely fantastic job with the vocals here!
And, as always, huge round of applause for Gabriel who once again delivered amazing guitar and drums! :D
Finally, I wanted to say that I HOPE to be able to release this year, on this channel, the prologue of Infinite Eclipse Origin as an audiobook. I'll try to do my best to have the highest quality possible but keep in mind that it'll be a test, to see if people are interested in that. Considering that making the audiobook is a project that needs a very big budget, I'll unfortunately not be able to complete it if not enough people are interested. Crowdfunding would be one solution but I first need to see if people like that format (since most of people here are simply subscribed to my channel for pony-related music). While IEO exists mainly because of MLP, it doesn't contain anything that is directly related to the show (for obvious copyright reasons) which is why I fear not many people will not be interested in IEO.
In any case, hope you'll enjoy this opening!

@@JycRow Oh, I'm sorry for putting you in a stupor. I meant your album 01. INFINITE ECLIPSE: Prequel and the fact that I really like it. Only recently I decided to listen to it in full and was struck to the core by its sound and history. I listened to the song "Together, against sisters" at the age of 9-10, and now I'm already 17 and I met your channel again and remembered my childhood and listened to all the songs from 01 (I didn't have time to listen to only part of the UEP commanders). I haven't listened to 00 and 02 yet, but I think I'll get to them soon. Under "Seo" and "cao" only my inattention and autocorrect of Yandex translator are hidden. I am baffled by situations like this when I need to write a comment in English or say something because my English is bad. That's why I use a translator. Also thank you for responding. I didn't think I'd accidentally attract attention.

I actually read all my youtube comments ahah :p Though, "Together, Against the Sisters" has only been released 3 years ago (May 3rd, 2020), but I can understand the feeling that it seems old ahah Also, no worries regarding bad English! @@JycRow I need to slightly correct my previous statement: this isn't just amazing, I've been listening to this for the last hour on a loop now and this is probably better than 90 % of Anime openings...sure there are the great ones but a lot of them are just very boring, basic and forgettable...but this just slaps!! to everyone, play this with good speakers or headphones and turn the volume up!

Happy we managed to do well! I admit I was inspired by the first opening of Demon Slayer (Gurenge), and composed the track with that song in mind, then made the Infinite Eclipse main theme as it is (since the leitmotif of Together, Against the Sisters is basically the IE main theme now ahah)

@@JycRow now that you said gurenge inspired you I can hear some parts where the two songs feel similar. they are VERY minor but they ARE there. That's not a bad thing I just noticed it after you told me that that was your inspiration. showed this to my friend and he was like wow this is very good , better than your pony music! me: well this IS Pony music ! ...He didn't know what to say about that! ( I showed him a few MLP fan songs and he always is like: I mean it's ok but also Ponys !! )

Who is the gold furred red maned ardenien alicorn second from the top in the middle? They seem frustrated about something and I wonder if they are the original Aqasha. Even if I am wrong are the Original Aqasha and Nerath in the image if so where are they in the image. Also are you going to make an English version of this and are you going to make a theme for the original Neagissa?

- That is indeed Aqasha! - Nerath is also on that picture - she's the pythonian alicorn with curly mane, just under Naegissa and above Raybarn (if you want more information about the characters in IEO, I'd suggest you to join the Discord server (link in description) - there are the official artworks of most of the main characters appearing in the volume 1 of the novel series). - I honestly don't know if I'll make an English version of it. The current answer to this question is "no" but we never know what might happen in a couple of years, depending on the success of IEO. - There will be a theme for IEO's Naegissa, but it isn't planned yet.
