After years of absence, she returned to a world she once knew, but the welcome was far from warm. Instead of open arms and understanding, she was met with disdain, hatred, and disagreement. The icy chill of disdain, and discord. When will people be more open towards change and acceptance? So what if she over-acts? It wasn't just about her past, it was about the very essence of who she was as a woman daring to speak her truth in a world that preferred her silence. The director required that, even she said in a few interviews. When a woman speaks with dignity, good language, respect, and a good choice of words, everything seems wrong. They are only allowed to shut themselves up behind the kitchen. When will these people learn to understand and move on?

Ophelia, you have written very well but all your eloquence is lost on a 2nd rate actress masquerading as a fine actress. Simran showed her acting prowess in various movies, so did Meena, Sneha, etc etc. This lady only rolls her eyes and expects us to adore her. Even Mozhi was dappa acting. If she just realized her place in the industry gracefully, we would all clap our hands for all the box office hits she gave, thanks to her male co-stars.

All the negative comments shows how people desperate to see her fail. Even some Tamil audience hate her for doing hindi movies even though they know she is from Mumbai. They are cooking up stories in their mind and believing it to be true, she doesn't have to please these negative people, instead she should work in good films be it from any language.

She even mentioned why she did that in her early days especially Kushi. She didn't know the language and the only way she could convey emotions was thru her acting and hence that. For Kushi she was asked by the director to act that way for the character. But nevertheless she carried that over acting also in a convincing manner imo
