I know a lot of people like to throw shade at him for things they've heard about him and things he's done and twist it and take it out of context so they can turn him into a sick and twisted man, but hes' actually one of the most genuine founders of a company I've seen. He means well for the industry and a ton of artists from the company look up to him and even former artists look up to him..He doesn't have almost 30 years of experience in the industry for nothing..😎

Thank you! Even though he is definitely much older than the idols he manages, he is both a company runner and an idol at the same time. Also, as cringe as some people call a lot of his songs, I definitely find myself listening to them sometimes.

Different perspective: a manager/producer who has to step all over his own teams (the 2PM autotunes and whispers, the countless Knowing Bros shows, lack of protection of Stray Kids and GOT7) because he is addicted to attention... is not a good producer. And don't even get me started on his "gospel ministry" as he writes and performs songs degrading women.

You know, honestly, I really like JYP. He seems very genuine and like he doesn’t only care about himself and I think that mentality is reflected in the artists at JYPE. But he does give off a vibe of that weird uncle that’s a little out of touch with reality but you still kind of look forward to seeing every Christmas.

Nah he is a legend for a reason. Great all-round entertainer and mentor to a lot of high-caliber and famous idols. Been there, done that. Seen all and been all sides of Korea's music industry. Hence he can laugh his blunders away without really tainting his rep.

If you think about it, it's pretty sad for their line of work that you have to achieve his stature in order to perform with artistic freedom and be yourself on stage and get away with it...I admire their work ethics, but it's so ironic and hypocrite that Idols are called "idols" by molding them into something they are not and showing only a small portion of who they really are

My opinion on JYP varies depending on a video I watch about him 😂 Cringe compilations I watch mostly, but now I clearly think that at least his willingness to go all out for a performance and bravery to do it are soooooo admirable. I prefer to not think about his managing abilities because I don’t know anything about it and don’t see a whole picture of it 😄
