My unpopular opinion: The Book of Us series (music & lyrics) is really a journey of being a human. First in Gravity is like when you're in college, curious and experiment in everything. Then Entropy's songs are like graduating and jump into society with burning spirit. Then Demon is like you're losing your passion in life bc life is not as you expected, having a quarter life crisis. Gluon is youre getting aware with yourself and love around you and start to move on. And there's this album, which all the songs sound mature-full-grown up, you're starting to embrace yourself, accepting flaws and again ready to face the world. Applause to the Band who sings for every moments.

I will say this over and over again: DAY6 only create timeless music. I remember those two weeks in 2020 when I listened to all their albums and I was blown away by how good every single song is. Like, DAY6 deserve so much more recognition for their incredible music; there’s not one song that I don’t like. This album remains one of my favorites in 2021, and You Make Me remains my favorite release of 2021

This album is like the resolution to the book of us series. It's about letting go, acceptance, and moving on. Then there's so let's love, it represents that one part of us that don't want to let go and is begging the person not to let go. Like you are still hoping it will all be alright even if you know it's not gonna work. I love this album really, it's just perfection. I forgot to add that the chord progression they used are just perfect, it makes you feel healed and stuff. Well, except so let's love, that song makes you feel desperate for love hahaha
