Album= You & Me Song = You In Me From what I gather, the MV concept is that each girl is in love and obsessed with the boy they're paired with and the boys are dead. It's a crazy awesome concept that fits the lyrics so well! The shots are awesome too! If you go back and watch it knowing about the plot twist, the parts where the girls are clinging to the guys or touching them (like when BM is rapping and Somin is just clinging to him, not moving and when Jiwoo and J.Seph are in front of the mirror) are all the more creepy! lol

Its just about holding onto a relationship that is dead. The girl sees the relationship as her everything/has this idealized image of the relationship while the boy just wants to move on because he can see how toxic and obsessive it is. There is no love between them anymore but the girl is holding on to this nostalgic image of their love. Even though their love is obvious dead/over she cant let it go.

The idea is: BM and J.Seph are dead, but Somin and Jiwoo loved them to much, so the can not believe that they lost their loved ones. they pretend that BM and J.Seph are still alive and they are together. Also the lyrics say "Nothing can replace you" "yoe are my only love" The MV is super sad for me

Renata Sakaeva The other idea is that both men feel suffocated and cannot tolerate the girls' obsessive attitude (since apego means attachment/obsession) towards them thus wants to end things with them but the girls just can't let go so they "keep" them, making both boys feel even more suffocated leading to them dying inside (the dead boys in the mv is a metaphor).

"Apego" means attachment in spanish. That's the whole concept idea. The guys don't feel anything for them, they are like "dead", but Jiwoo and Somin can't let go, they rather have them "dead" than not having them in any way. It's like some kind of obsession.

I think then it makes sense. She is still staying at the "attachment" hostel/hotel and has clearly no plans on of moving on from her past love. She is willing to stay in that place and be with a dead relationship , because there are still feelings and she is just that attached to him and what they had. It has gotten to a point where she is insane and won't admit it.

Maybe they show different ways of coping with the loss? Like Jiwoo is also in all black and really muted in that sense as she is there with J.Seph. Sorta like dying herself in that dying relationship and maybe sort of going through towards acceptance. Somin sort of seem like she is trying to pull further away from the truth and stick to BM but reality comes calling and she can't fully do that? Like the two pairs show different ways of moving onwards or not at all?

I LOVE KARD! I like that they went dark again. The being dead part was a surprise but I like the concept. My theory is that the boys were going to leave the girls so the girls murdered them to stay with them forever. I also liked that the girls had polar opposite personalities in their characters. Sumin was the crazy one while Jiwoo was straight laced and calm. I liked that dynamic because it came across in the rooms and the choice of boyfriends too I like that you can recognize KARD’s style throughout their songs because they have the same sound throughout their song but it differs a little between every song. They also use some of the same choreo moves between songs too so you recognized some of the dance moves in this video too.

The title track ‘You In Me’ is an EDM song with the strong synth and FX sounds on the tropical house style intense drum sounds. The cold voice on the heavy piano sounds on the Break beat, explosive rap and the perfect contrast between the female and male voices at the climax are all in harmony. It described the story of a tragic ending of an extreme love including obsession of distorted love, the climax of emotions and the wrong way of expressing love.

According to what I have researched about the MV. It's about betrayal and obsession. Jiwoo cheated on J.Seph, which goes the same with Somin and BM. That's why the boys were in a corpse-like state in the latter part of the MV because they felt 'dead' in their relationship. Somin has a line 'I apologize' and goes crazy when BM turned into a corpse signaling that she can't handle losing BM. As to Jiwoo, she and J.Seph just lay on the bed calmly, because she has already accepted the fate of her actions, but she can't lose J.Seph, like Somin. There were scenes like Jiwoo adjusting J.Seph's tie, which symbolizes that Jiwoo keeps on cleaning or fixing their relationship on the outside even if on the inside they've fallen apart already.

Long story shory: the actual meaning as far as I know is that the girls are so obsessed with their lovers they couldn't face the fact their lovers would move on so they they killed them to make sure no one would ever have them. The relationship itself was already dead and they couldn't handle that, so the boys were killed (BM by alcohol and Jseph by the food).

*Theory time!* Basically, girls are not letting go of relationships that have ended a long time ago. Somin is obsessive type, she's desperately trying to bring back her partner and she's so obsessed that it made her go crazy. Jiwoo, on the other hand, became more distant after the relationship was over. However, she's sure they are both still in love with each other and does everything they would usually do together (e.g. dining, fixing his tie...) as if they never even broke up. And boys being dead/not moving thing: This should represent their relationships, that are "dead". They are cold/ice blue because love is gone and they no longer have romantic feelings for girls. This doesn't stop girls from acting manic (Somin) or clinging even more (Jiwoo).

So they both died because of the girls. Jseph died because Jiwoo limited his life so much that he couldn’t handle it in the end. And BM died because of Somin setting no limitations (letting him drink as much as he desires etc.). So I think the message is like, don’t set too many rules in your relationship, but at the same time you should still be worried about each other.. If you get what I’m trying to say LOL

"The relationship is dead." OH YOU DON'T SAY?! Jokes aside, fun reaction once again. I was just as shook when they caught us with the light-flicker type of transformation. Had me sitting in silence after the video for a good two minutes trying to contemplate the story line since only one of them looked traumatized and it was only for that one scene. Ended up watching it again for the lyrics too, so I'd say its a good strategy to get people to rewatch.

Yo, dont know if someone already said this, but 'Apego' is like being attached to someone, it would be the noun 'attatchment/stick'. The thing is that 'pegar', in spanish can be used to say stick. Apego would mean being attatched to another one. Hopefully helps out a little bit.

I think, by reading the lyrics and watching the video i came to the conclusion that they're dead inside, like... they're alive physically, but psychologically they are dead. And the girls can't leave them because they are obsessed/still love them and can't let them go. But it damages them too and overall it's an unhappy "love" story. ^^

the key is in "APEGO" the word on the building... Apego is spanish means addiction in english... so its like Somin and Jiwoo kinda obsessed toward BM and Jseph... So even though they dead, the girls treat them like alive

I didn't expect that twist and it shook me so much! My interpretation is that the girls aren't over their dead love, so thei still cling to it but is useless. Regarding the song, I think it grows on you the more you listen to it.

From what i got from them being 'dead' depicts them being cold to them because the lyrics at the time are saying ' 'why do you keep pushing me away'
