Go back to history and it will tell you that the Dravidians especially the Tamils are no easy meat. The invading armies from the north simply could not penetrate and defeat the Tamils even before the Common Era time. It took the Europeans to do that and that element still exist today by way of economic sway and manipulation. They are very independent in thought and action and they simply despise the Northerners. This is taught through literature, poetry and drama and it has simply seeped into the veins of the Tamils. So it will be difficult to defeat them in their turf. The challenge will be since they believe that they are so invincible like their glorious Cholan Emperors, they ought to try to lead India but the Northerners too don't like them. Therefore when a Tamilian with the help of the Northerners were to challenge them in their fortress, they see it as an act of treachery and will unite to defeat that challenge. Will the Tamils have the courage to leave the Union and form a nation of their own? or will they run to other countries and try to be leaders there? We will have to wait and see.

BJP gained votes through the coalition and without them its still under 8. I said many times , your party ideology wont work out here. @@RR-wp8jt It doesn't matter what name you give (BJP+ or CONG+ or DMK+), the way the vote percentage is calculated = 100*(total votes got by a party where its candidate contested)/(total votes polled). This vote percentage calculation becomes flawed where more that one party contest in alliance. In the current election, only the NTK's percentage is correct , rest all are flawed as NTK contested alone.
