Thank you for this cool video! As someone who is studying Korean and loves K-Beauty, this video is gold. Would love to see more such videos, for example on vocabulary used in Korean makeup tutorials ❤

Your channel is so underrated. You deserve at least a million subscribers and viewers! This was a really interesting + informative video! 🙏🏽I love learning about languages, and wish my mum spoke Mandarin to me growing up so I could speak it 😢 Your explanations are fascinating as there are words for such specific things - I love that! ❤ Would you consider doing a similar video for other things e.g. K Pop terms maybe? It would be much more insightful hearing from someone who properly knows the language. For example, I know 'maknae' refers to the youngest member of a group, but is there more to it? Any cultural significance? Are they treated more favourably? Etc... 😂I'll shutup now! Love your videos, thank you 🤗💖

The funny thing about translating between languages is in one language a word meaning might be very commonly known and used and then in the other language they might have a word for it but it’s so uncommonly used you sound like a highly educated college professor when you say it 😂 I remember when the word semi-opaque was not widely known or used but my mother taught it to me young so I used it and no one knew what I was talking about, but I would just explain it like it was explained to me. (Something that prevents visibility but not light. Eg. frosted glass, thin muslin, fine porcelains)

I thought the rabbit tongue lip trend actually originated from a post of someone who saw a picture of a cute rabbit who had its mouth open and someone said that’s the perfect lip colour.
