this drama is so underrated it got lost among all the media coverage around queen of tears and lovely runner , i wish them luck cuz so far it's one of the bests this year the plot the story the acts the cast the edit 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🫰🏼🫰🏼🫰🏼❤️❤️❤️

I loved Atypical Family. I got hooked to it because of its interesting, unique, not so ordinary storyline letting the viewers think deeply to understand the writer's message. Every cast portrayed their characters perfectly. They are all so very good and I enjoyed every scene. I love the chemistry of Jang Ki-yong and Chun Woo Hee. Jang Ki-yong is always paired to older actresses (except in My Roommate is a Gumiho where the lead actress is a year younger than him) but always looks good with them like Song Hye Kyo, Chun Woo Hee, and Im Soo Jung. He is very charming specially when he smiles. His acting in Atypical Family is perfect. He can be nominated as best actor in TV series. All of the casts can be nominated and win an award.

One of the most unique and interesting storyline and plot that ive seen in a K-drama and ive watching K-dramas and movies for over 20 years. The main leads are both phenomenal and the entire cast are brilliant as well. The Korean film and small screen industry have really been pushing the boundaries these past few years!! Kudus to them!!

I prefer it more cuz of more natural, gentle an uniqueness and my type better than queen of tears cuz it doesn't contain a lot of dramas like queen of tears

Seeing Kiyong here, he really did lost a lot of weight after the military. He was really buff. I could see why they had to make him lose weight for Gwiju.

Modern issue. *Depression/difficulty accepting past/ choosing only the Happy moments which isnt Balance *Being overweight. Trying to be fit/sexy to be Fit in to someone and society standard *Theyre mother. Manipulator. Following old beliefs *father. Slave of a wife. He almost cheat to his wife *Scammers. Nowadays, many scammers are out esp when Pandemic hits. * being idiot. Bok Ina trying to please people even she knew their real motives. Trying to be in silence. The Power of Love. Love is everywhere and anytime. No matter whats your past or future. Love is sacrificing, weakness and Love is Life. Loving someone could be strength. WITHOUT LOVE? HAPPINESS DOESNT EXIST. Love is complicated, BUT LOVE IS REAL WHEN YOU FOUND SOMEONE as Your Daily dose of Hapiness. Jang Kiyong in the Dark room found Dae hee as his Window Light or a Hope.

🙏🌹👌🌹👌🌹🙏 lovely insight: hard work and yet they-all worked well togeather🙏🌹👌 [and, O .... after watshing ep2, I finally realized that Kiyong's HAIR ... was not seppose to be a HAIRSTILE, its seppose to be a HAPPENING OF NEGLECT; carelesness, but still: his briliant acting ALLONE would have done the caracter enough credit, but hey, 🫡 to him for wenting ALL OUT!

It was a great series man I wish they could have done a better ending I feel the producers gave up half way through the show and the writers couldn't finish what they wanted to showcase, the ending felt so rushed it made no sense

I wondered what's the purpose of having a script reading by all actors in the beginning of a new drama? so this script reading happens before they start shooting the drama? I need answers, anyone?

It’s so the actors have a chance to rehearse in a comfortable setting and iron any perceived issues before filming. Filming requires a lot of money, coordination, and time, so the acting and dialogue has to be very buttoned up and this is a great way to rehearse without wasting time and resources.

Not just for actors to rehearse but it's also for everyone including directors and script writers to hear how you'll be playing the character. You can still get pulled out of the production after script reading.

Although It was so good to watch Jang Kiong again, the drama itself was dissapointment with mainly 3 reasons. Characters were not depicted as such to evoke sympathy. There was not touching/shining words/sentenses/phrases touching my heart (doesn't matter if it is comedy, thriller, love romance. There were many i.g. in Kumiho). Casting mistake. Nevertheless I look forward very much his next drama with a better script with characters evoking sympathy, hopefully in a kind of role he has never played.
