You can definitely ask them but unfortunately they will decline according to the rules of this show. If the owner or members of the house already eaten they can not join even if they are offered food. Another rule is if any of the member of the family feels uncomfortable for hosting they can not join. You can find the rule on Wikipedia.

Some people especially the older ones don’t keep up with the current trends of entertainment industry. I myself don’t know many new singers and actors from my countries unless they’re like A-listers because I rarely watch local TV.
