K/DA was a group formed by a video game company to promote League of Legends. Soyeon and Miyeon from G(idle) form part of the group with American popstar Madison Beer, American singer Jaira Burns and Chinese singer Lexie Liu.

K/DA is actually what got me I to k-pop in the first place lol. I found their debut mv ‘Pop/Stars’ & got obsessed. K/DA is the name of the animated group (the 4 main girls at the beginning). Akali (the rapper) is voiced by Soyeon, leader of (G)I-dle. Ahri (the fox girl) is voiced by Miyeon, another member of (G)I-dle. Evelynn (the one with the claws) is voiced by Madison Beer. Kai’sa (the one with the cool wings) is voiced by Jaira Burns. The animated characters are all playable characters in League of Legends and each mv is actually designed to help promote the skins released for the characters. Serafine (yes pronounced sera-feen) is voiced by Lexie Liu. I discovered Lexie through this mv and she’s an amazing artist, I highly recommend her music! She released a new album a few months ago & has like 3 mvs for it! (Fortuna, Magician, & Ganma) Lol sorry got the info overload, I’m passionate about these ladies! Thanks for the reactions! 💜

(IMO) League of Legends is a popular game, mostly global than in America. South Korea has won world championships many times. So, K/DA, being the first of its kind, using popular League of Legends characters dancing and voiced by great singers (like an actual K-pop group) and amazing music by RIOT music entertainment (lol) became a huge hit. K/DA first debuted with "Popstars" when K-pop was becoming more globally known and the world championship was taking place in South Korea at the time, thus they had (G)I-DLE (only Soyeon & Miyeon) collab with other American artists (Madison and Jaira). I believe it was supposed to be a one-time thing. It was such a huge hit that fans of the game and music wanted 'more'. Even the top three K-Pop entertainment companies at the time, SM Entertainment, used the same concept for their next girl group a few years later, now aespa and their AI avatars. After, came this song, "MORE", the world championship was taking place in China and thus they featured into K/DA, Lexie Liu (popular Chinese artist who also had some experience in the K-pop industry), as the singer of Seraphine (a new champion/character that was introduced into the game). There were a few good reasons why K/DA was so successful. They were not just random AI avatars. The champions/characters already had fans (gamers/cosplayers etc.). Their music is great, their singing and rap is amazing, and their animation style is also great. Also, the clothes/look the champions/characters have in the MVs are 'skins' that appear in game. Skins make the champion's skills appear different etc. You can choose Ahri (Fox girl) with crystal tails and a crystal orb or pink tails with a pink orb. 👍👍 Please react to all K/DA in order~ AND REACT to RIOT music as well! So K/DA has 6 songs and MV: The first one is POP/STARS (2018). With only the 4 members of K/DA: Akali (ninja girl, voiced by Soyeon), Ahri (fox girl, voiced by Miyeon), Evelynn (girl with claws, voiced by Madison Beer) and Kai'Sa (girl with wing-ish things, voiced by Jaira Burns) This song and MV was their debut and a massive success. Two years later, they released their EP Album "All Out" with 5 songs/MV: THE BADDEST (Lyrics video, but is pretty cool to watch). This is considered Akali's song, but has all of them: Akali (Soyeon), Ahri (Miyeon), Evelynn (voiced by Bea Miller) and Kai'Sa (voiced by Wolftyla) MORE. As you see, it has all of them and features Seraphine (voiced by Lexie Liu) VILLAIN. This is Evelynn solo song/MV. If wanna hear a different song that has an astonishing MV, this one is for you. With Madison Beer and Kim Petras. DRUM GO DUM. This is Kai'Sa solo song/MV. Although Kai'Sa doesn't show so much, this one is a dancing video with a very talented dancer on it. It has Aluna, Bekuh Boom and Wolftyla as voalists and the amazing Bailey Sok as the dancer. I really like this one. I'LL SHOW YOU. Ahri's solo song/MV. The voices for this one are: Nayeon, Sana, Jihyo and Chaeyoung from Twice. There is another song with Soyeon as Akali, but this one is for a Rap band called True Damage. The song is called Giants and includes: Becky G as Qiyana Keke Palmer as Senna DUCKWRTH and Thutmose as Ekko There is another champion on this video called Yasuo, but he is the DJ. And there is a Metal Band from League of Legends too, called Pentakill. They have 3 albums: "Smite and Ignite", "II: Grasp of the Undying" and "III: Lost Chapter". They also have one MV for "Mortal Reminder" and a virtual concert for the release of the third album. The list of artists for this one is too big so I'm not mention them but the champions are: First album: Karthus, vocalist. Sona, keys. Mordekaiser, guitar. Olaf, drums. Yorick, bass. For the second album, Kayle joins the band as a female vocalist. And the third album adds another male vocalist: Viego.

K/DA is a fictional kpop group. There's some lore to the group if you dig deep enough. I recommend watching their debut POP/STARS. Then react to "True Damage - Giants". It features Akali from K/DA (Soyeon from g-idle) and some others. My favorite is K/DA - Villain which only features Evelyn from K/DA (the girl with the long fingers). After listening to the subtitles for seraphine’s part (blue hair girl) the subtitles, and the Chinese lyrics are completely different 😂😂 the English lyrics is literally “I know you want more. I want more you want some more do you want more?” And then the Chinese lyrics is like “ way out, feeling like the waves I’m on the way now, nonstop going forward, never weighed down, this is how I do it every day wow, Wow. The journey that we’re on I’ll remember you and every moment shining so bright, I know I know you want some more when you’re ready let’s go giving it all.” (rough translation.) 😂

Basically, Riot Games created their own virtual music groups by using their champions/characters to just promote new skins relating to that and then they hire singers & musicians for these. Yeah, they put this much effort just for skins. They have 3 groups currently: Pentakill is a metal band, K/DA is a K-Pop group, & True Damage is a rap+hiphop group.
