the reason the animation looked different is because it was animated by a different studio. the studio who made pop/stars is currently working on a league of legends animated show!

Soyeon from (G)I-DLE is the rapper. The live version of Pop/Stars uses augmented reality, it is a really fun watch! (POP/STARS - Opening Ceremony Presented by Mastercard | Finals | 2018 World Championship)

Soyeon of (G)i-dle is the one rapping.the main rapper of k/da while madison(evelynn) is the one who's singing/backing akali(soyeon) in the rap

One thing I love about this... the song is about how they are Popstars, you're never gonna get them, never bring them down. The camera always has them center frame, and always pulls away from them. Like they are untouchable, unattainable. Brilliant cinematography in this video.

Evelynn's (claws and glasses) K/DA lore says that she owns a lot of fast cars. In the "More" music video, she has a bunch of stone statues. In the comics (Harmonies Issue #3), a bunch of classical statues were purchased by a "mysterious". The spikes on those statues represent her Q ability "Hate Spikes" where she throws a dart and then can fire a line of spikes from the ground three times to impale her opponents. There's more stuff in her K/DA lore that mirrors her actual lore. Like how in the game, she's a demons the lures victims with"the promise of love/pleasure" and then rips them apart so they experience even more pain than if she just killed them on the spot. In her K/DA lore, this is changed to how a number of male celebrities that were romantically linked to her had mysteriously disappeared. Additionally (bc I apparently can't stop talking about Evelynn) Evelynn in "Popstars" and "Villain" reference her passive more compared to "More". She's always in the shadows not only because she's an assassin in the game but also because her passive makes her invisible when she's out of battle.

if you watch any of the live the videos are 2018 rise and pop/stars, 2019 awaken, true damage-giants and phoenix. it would be best to watch the mv's then the live.
