Here in Europe we consider men (or women for that fact) of 39 years old without a job or any job experience and just tingling their hobby guitar in their room, hoping some music giant will notice them, as losers.. No hope for them. he ruined his career and get a afro American women to compensate for his mistakes. But he thinks wrong because this black woman is beautiful , intelligent and talented. Maybe if they get children he can contribute by becoming staying home dad, but now he is just hanging around like students mostly do.. So they better decide to sit around the table and talk realistic things and not dreams of a middle aged not working man. Maybe they can both decide she will stay the first provider of the family and he will try to learn how to take care for kids . If they want kids…🤔 then he can become a house-man.. Then by the time she has any inkling of time to do a hobby for herself, her husband comes in to tell her that it's time to go to bed, because, bills. :( While, I'm very much impressed he's able to pursue his dreams to make them a reality. His wife is pursuing a job that's a blessing and convenient for them both, but unfortunately, she's the breadwinner at this point of their marriage. :( She needs a job that either pays way better, so she can work shorter days, so she also has the ability to pursue her own dreams. Or he also needs to find another part time job, so they both can equally pursue their dreams. If the roles were reversed and he had to be the breadwinner, and he finally sat down to practice his jazz music after working all day, I'd bet he'd be upset, too. If his wife had all day to persue her dreams of art and such, but came in to tell him he now needs to go to bed, he'd feel restricted, too. But the partner telling them to go to bed would just be the final cherry on top the cake. Where as his worklife would be taking up majority of his week. There's definitely a lifestyle living gap between them. He has all this time to work and chill out and breathe, where as she finally can catch a breath when she gets home, but wait! She still can't, because she has all these cleaning stipulations she has to go over, that the husband has brought up before they can even eat. I can already tell, she will burn out first from so much workload being demanded of her daily. Just to keep a roof over their head, clothes on their back and food on the table. Unfortunately, this is a teammate partnership for survival only. Not a couple married in terms of a loving connection. Already, halfway through the video and I do not see them staying home to watch a movie. I do not see them taking a break and going for walks at the park. Is there ever a time that they can find the time and just chill in each others' presence and appreciate each others' existence? If I were in a situation where a guy I've come to know, suddenly is broken up with or vice versa, I honestly would see that as a red flag and run. His vulnerability would be the red flag. Temporarily. Because his feelings were just crushed by someone who allegedly loved him. And that is visibly apparent that he loved her, too. Easy to say, not easy to do. While I don't agree with nagging someone, especially if they are exhausted, it is quite challenging-painful even-to clean up after someone over and over again (cleaning the SAME messes time after time makes it even worse). I don't know ANYBODY that loves to do that. I can empathize with the man on that front. I also would not say he is "not helping in any way." Homemaking is not an easy task.
