Japan had ups and downs in its history meaning they know pretty much how to live a lifeand are good with transmitting emotions. However I think here that Kyary wants to show us something else and creates these masterpiearound her style with the knowledge of good music.

"kira" is normally an onomatopoeia (a sound effect that you see quite often in manga) that means something like "sparkle." but if you're referring to Death Note, it is simply the English form of "Killer." (Japanese does not have an L sound, so they substitute it with an R.) "Kira" is the name Light goes by when killing in death note.

ok i'm not gonna lie this was all one big jojo reference and it really freaking shows the get ups? the arrow and their shape? the out of body experiences like stands and the weird stand-like design? the odd superpowers? the design and tones and textures of just about everything? the implication of comic elements? the lyrics??? the "stand" practically gets a requiem? the crosses that oddly resemble the rock that fell on caesar? the "stand" returning to the body? that look as she pulls the drawstring?? this is one big fat jojo reference and you cannot change my mind
